I am a bit skeptic about the game against United next week because:
A) we don't play well after a break
B) they were hopeless and needed a break
C) everyone is thinking we will maul them over, which will only add pressure on them to perform.
D) too many young kids on their team to prove something
E) If he loses badly ogs might get sacked
F) we are probably not the most defensively sound this season yet

Although i am sure we can win but I don't think we are walking over them. It has as to be our best performance if we are taking them points at old Trafford.

Agree6 Disagree1

Was thinking pretty much the same thing AK, they always turn up against us and last season still got a draw when Rashford was hobbling about with one foot.

Derby type games form can go out the window, though in this game I do think we will go there and bring home the 3 points. As long as we match the intensity and effort in the game our quality should hopefully come through and do enough to win. Not normally as confident for a trip to castle greyskull but fully confident in our team.

They’re team is not good enough in any dept. If we perform we win. They’re not keeping clean sheets and not creating goal scoring opportunities.

Our hardest match was clearly Chelsea at Stamford bridge, Not this game.

Nah I was very confident with the Chelsea game because chelsea were out to play.
If united score somehow it will 11 players wall we will need to score.
As I said we need to perform in this game at a good level, a level obviously we can play at and should be playing at.
This won't be a stroll.

I agree akrubbish. feels like a trap game to me.

Not defensively sound yet have conceded less goals than anyone else. they'll be up for it but if we pkay as we can we win.

No injuries from international games and we win. Simples.

why did auto correct change my akrubbish to ackrubbush?

{Ed001's Note - it's the swear filter on the sites.}

Hahaaa.

We're the much better team, we'll beat them no problem at all, I'm not at all concerned about them I was more worried about Leicester.

It's the perfect time for us to play United and Spurs with the way they are at the moment. The good thing is that we have been grinding out wins game after game, and that's exactly what we will need to do again, especially at Old Trafford. I am confident that if they do come at us we will beat them by a ridiculous score line, and if they park the bus we will grind out a win just as we have been doing. I honestly don't see United beating us at all, at worst we will come away with a point, but if we want to be a title winning team we really do need to be picking up maximum points against these mid-table teams.

that's hilarious that it changes his name.

I swear we get the same posts before every game. Someone warning us not to take our next opponents lightly and how we’ll have to be at our best to win the game. You do realize there aren’t any easy games right?
This team are the European champions and have won 18 league games in a row, they know how to win all sorts of games. What we say on this site has absolutely no bearing on the players performance on a match day.
Stop being so afraid of every other team and just enjoy this magnificent team whilst we can.

I fully agree with you, Thunderbird 2. Same old stuff before a game as if the players and manager who have been to hell and back with all the blood, guts, tears and battle scars to prove it, still need to be reminded of such things. We all know the Utd game is a trap game where anything can happen. That is pretty much the same for any Prem opponent we face so not bothered cos nothing new is being learned here. so not about any of that, really.

Complacency is not in our team's DNA. Klopp ain't having any of that nonsense. If you are still apprehensive before our boys step on the field then you are overthinking things. we will be ready, no doubt. As they say in boxing, "Just Let your hands go. " We'll be fine and well-prepared. There is nothing to fear BUT fear itself.

United away is always a tough one, we’ve not won there for a few years now. Whilst they’re not firing on all cylinders, this game will be extremely difficult, they will be out to halt our winning run.
