Any of the Eds / Reds seen the BT Sport film on Man Utd's 1974 relegation?
I watched it last night, an enjoyable (for a Liverpool fan especially! ) and interesting piece on how not to manage a football club.
It's incredible, in hindsight, how badly Utd handled their demise and the extent to which George Best, great player though he was, was indulged.
The over-riding message though was the damage that a group of non-cooperative senior players can do to a manager.
All the more strange, therefore, that Paul Pogba continues to mess them about.
He surely needs to be moved on and the money re-invested.

Dont think anyone would buy Pogba for more than 50 million. I genuinly fail to see hype. Wijnaldum is 3 times the player if I'm being gentle with Pogba :)

BXL I fail to see how MU can ever recoup their outlay on him also, talented yes but character wise one to dodge, stats built up with pens.

As someone who watched Pogba play at Juve, he thrived in a system where he was NEVER the main man as the main men where Vidal, Marchisio and Pirlo. Pogba was just part of a system. These guys made the system tick over. Hence, Pogba could look good in a system that suited him. This was under Antonio Conte.
Now when Max Allegri took over and brought over his 4-4-2 diamond, he prolly knew that Pogba would be a liability tactically and esp. defensively (he has NO defensive bone in his body) so what did he do? He played Pogba on the left of a midfield diamond where he couldn't hurt them whenever defensively. Hence like Spus's Erik Lamela, till this day I could NOT tell you what Pogba is actually good at. Maybe some or the Ed's can help me.

May be he's only good at weird hairstyles? And I guess his agent does a great job influencing people on social media that Pogba is a talented player? LOL.

I thought he was rubbish at Juve personally.
{Ed047's Note - he is so overrated it’s untrue and I think he got hyped up so much by United fans when they wanted to buy him back that led to half the garbage said about him.
Got carried through the World Cup by his so much better team mates.
