Afternoon all
Quick question for everyone including eds1 and eds25 just for a different perspective.
Would any player from Man U get into our side at the min?
I would have to say no. What do you think.

{Ed001's Note - no, not that I can think of.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you talking about our starting 11 or squad? As for the 11, definitely no, squad the only I may consider is Bissaka.

Fred is better than Fabinho.

That's what all my United supporting friends told me when he signed. Fred was in the Brazil squad ahead of Fabinho you know? He must be better.

14 Oct 2019 15:26:55
Hahaha! I’m better than Fred, and I’m garbage.

14 Oct 2019 15:36:16
They must be talking about the Fred (CF) who played in the World Cup, two cups ago. Both that Fred and this one are flops.

Until recently, I totally forgot that Fred was still playing football period, not just playing for utd. Now regarding who would make our squad (none would make our starting lineup, really), I would take Rashford or Wan-Bissaka cos both can still improve with the right coaching, environment and guidance cos both are clearly talented. The rest? Keep it moving.

Fred is Man UTD's modern day version of Anderson, but without the talent and free McDonald's vouchers.

You'd be gutted if you was Brazilian and called Fred. Could of been named Ronaldinho, Fabinho or Carlos. But oh no, Fred 😂.

{Ed047's Note - I thought the worst Brazilian I’d ever seen was the one Stevie Wonder did on his misses but Fred‘s topped that and some.

And for me not one of them would get even close to your first 11 let alone the squad.

Ed047, that deserves a response but I just don't have one.

{Ed047's Note - Thanks Burkey 😂

Don’t see the hype about Rashford at all RW. He’s only talked about because he’s English and plays for Utd. He’s bang average if you ask me we’ve just got rid of someone on the same level in Ojo.

Beckers Pecker - great name, by the way.
Rashford is absolutely overrated, but he can still be an extremely dangerous player when not monitored closely. His sheer pace and unpredictability, particularly when striking, means he cannot be ignored, no matter how bad Man Utd otherwise are.

Danny mills was on sky sports earlier and was asked to pick his best 11 from both squads for Sunday's match and he picked our starting 11. No one from utd even got a mention not even pogba or De gea show how far we have come as a club instead of how far they have fallen.

15 Oct 2019 13:45:32
Fred's that bad, Mourinho even had to ask him which was his stronger foot and on which side he'd prefer to play on.
Right Said Fred.

Sitting here wondering how long it takes before the performances on the field start reflecting on the accounts and the balance sheet. Because they still seem to be very popular and the cash register is pinging to record profits still. And there lies the danger. This allows them to walk around with an open chequebook as they have in recent years, and perhaps become a serious challenger once again.

I think OGS deserves a lifelong contract. Loyal servant to the club since so long, and all that. 😂.

In our squad i would have de gea (decent bench warmer) wan bissaka, and probably James. In the team, none.

15 Oct 2019 20:06:07
Beckers, I see your point cos well right now, Rashford ain't doing jack. I just think like Wan-Bissaka, he is talented enough to be very good IF he has the right coach and environment cos his pace and movement is there. For ex. when Mane came to us, all he pretty much had was pace. But he improved a lot cos he too wanted to be great and now, he is world class, IMO. Rashford could be that IF he is determined to be great. I don't see that in him at a more than dreadful Utd side hence why I say, he should leave.

I think rashford biggest let down is his decision making. He chooses to shoot at the wrong times, tries to run the ball at the wrong times and often picks a pass either too early or too late. If he can improve on that aspect he can become a much better player than he currently is.
