So our game against Leicester has been moved to 8pm on Boxing Day to accommodate Amazon's involvement

A disgrace

Thankfully the club are putting on free coaches.

I get that they don't want tv games clashing, but what about the fans, local ones may be ok (just) but what if you travel to the game? And what about those Leicester fans.
It's a bank holiday so public transport will be limited especially at that time. Sometimes a bit of common sense is needed.

Public transport is a no-no over the entire Xmas period now with many main train lines closed for repairs.
The club / SoS do well putting on free or cheap buses for aways.
But the holiday games used to be reserved for derby matches or relatively local games, that’s much easier for everyone?

I’ve always loved going the match on Boxing Day but not at 8pm at night and especially not away.

The only trouble with having Derby games on Boxing Day is policing the matches, good idea though Juicer.

So on top of my sky and BT sport subscription I now need an Amazon account? How long until Netflix get some games?

17 Oct 2019 23:44:29
Won't be long jonesy won't be long.

18 Oct 2019 05:14:04
Competition is good though guys, it drives down prices and makes the quality better.

18 Oct 2019 07:25:55
I pay for none of them, not when you can get it free anyway, scroungers aren't getting a penny off me.

18 Oct 2019 07:28:45
What strikes me as an occasional match-goer now of over 45 years (oofff) is how few away supporters travel by coach these days compared to back in the day.
Liverpool are actually quite old skool but take Brighton, for instance, when they came up to Anfield in the cup a while back. They had the whole of the Anfield Road End lower, so thousands had traveled the length of the country. There was one mini bus on Arkles Lane parked up, so the rest had driven up in cars.
The car is definitely the main mode of match day travel now for away fans.

Irony with the use of the word 'scroungers'
If broadcasters don't collect subscription then they can't afford to pay the stupid money they pay the premier league, and clubs won't be able to pay the stupid transfer fee and wages they pay the players . and Mo Salah will have to look elsewhere . we can do a big 10000 words assay on this subject.
Live football should not be free, otherwise you will have even less supporters going to grounds which takes away the soul of the game.

18 Oct 2019 15:54:25
agree with you Roy, a lot of supporters want us to sign players at top prices, pay tope wages yet get cheap tickets and free viewing. it doesn't add up.

18 Oct 2019 17:55:37
Calling others scroungers whilst stealing live football for free.
The irony.

18 Oct 2019 20:29:48
'Stealing football for free' well mate, if you could go and buy a bmw for 25k and then get it for free without any hassle what would you do? snowflake galore on here at times.

I think you'll find the majority of people on here won't pay for overpriced sh*te like sky or bt etc because we're in 2019, you know, where it's easy to do! but enjoy paying for it, rather you than me, in the meantime I'll enjoy it for free thank you very much.

18 Oct 2019 20:35:52
I have no problem with people streaming football for free, but don't go calling others 'scroungers' when you are doing the exact same thing. It's called being a hypocrite.

18 Oct 2019 23:59:52
So they aren't scroungers in your eyes I take it?

19 Oct 2019 08:12:53
Competition driving down price I agree with the quality part but Its gone from £30 to watch games on sky to £60 to watch them on sky and bt now who knows the price of watching the games on Amazon plus I go to most of the home games they should have for example LFC game day tv shows all liverpool matches £xx a month that way at least you see all your teams games in one place they are bleeding us dry this is the last season I'm paying them. Another thing is we pay for these services to spend time watching gambling ads it's a disgrace years ago when you pay for premium tv you never used to get advertising sorry for the rant but it really pisses me off.

19 Oct 2019 10:43:47
There is an app called red glory and before ye start it's a utd app but it's one of the best for streaming matches on your phone the quality is unreal and it never freezes. I have watched every liverpool game from the last year on it and it's brilliant I just cast it onto the tv and hey Presto. Worth a look lads.
