Hi Ed’s with Fabinho one yellow from suspension do you think we should rest him against Villa?

{Ed001's Note - no, the next game is always the most important.}

Fairs.

Your nailed on for a yellow in that defensive midfield role. Personally I'd leave him out, Hendo can do a job and bring OX in.

We shouldn't be thinking about City before we've played Villa.

Spot on, Rigsby. IMO, Klopp may already have a plan should Fab not be available for the City game. IMO, just play him cos the City game ain't going to matter one bit if we don't do all we can to beat Villa tmrw. Play Fab and if he gets a yellow, we make do and we move on.

I'd rest him, as he's going to need a break sometime so why not the villa game, he'll be fresh then for Europe midweek and raring for city on Sunday. We have midfield options available so good time to use the squad.

{Ed001's Note - he gets a rest during the international break as he doesn't often play for his country.}

That's true but I thinks it's the yellow card issue is my main worry really. I just don't want to have a midfield player who's going to be cautious about committing tackles as I'm sure it will be on his mind. I think gini and hendo have shown they're good enough to manage that role and give the OX the instruction to get at villa offensively. I'd personally be confident in that 3 man midfield without risking fabinho.

I think Klopp will play him and already have a game plan in place should he get booked. Cos if Fab does not play and we don't win, many will be moaning as to why Klopp did not play him. And if he does play and get booked and we win, the complaints will come either way so to me, play him and hope for the best.
