Ed001, would u agree that the time Vvd spent at Celtic prepared him greatly for his time now at liverpool, as it was the first team he played for that had over 60% of the ball in most matches and the pressure was on the win every game?

Ed01, and those traits are still there in his game and comes out from time to time. You can watch the Spurs game at Anfield and to some extent, the Villa game. Tho to his credit, he has cut out most of this from his game since klopp got a hold of him BUT VVD needs reminding that he needs to be on his toes cos at this level, you can't rest on your laurels for one second.

I remember you saying this when he was rumoured to be coming to liverpool and you questioned if we should buy him I believea, luckily he hasn't strolled through any games and has in my opinion become the best defender in world football. If that's strolling then I say stroll on Virgil lol.
