Hey all, the Ballon'dor ceremony won't be live on TV in my country and I can't find any streams. Do ome of you know any stream out there?

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont you know who is going to win it, the little fella from Spain,
but we all know how close big Virgil came, so difficult for a defender to win it anyway, 2nd place is great for me and e few Liverpool players in the top ten,
so great for the Reds to be there .

02 Dec 2019 18:42:51
The leak has nothing to do with the actual ceremony. It's been like that with such leaks all the time in almost every single draw/ competition in football. Papers or whatever leaks the information needs money and reads.

02 Dec 2019 18:50:53
For me, I find it strange that a player who was a MASSIVE reason why his team won the biggest trophy in club football would go second behind the player who he completely dominated in the semi final to get to the final and then win it. That just irks me esp. knowing that had the roles been in reverse, Messi and his fan boys would have been losing their s-word on SM, slamming FIFA, UEFA and my mom. Just my opinion.

02 Dec 2019 19:18:40
The leaks have been proven to be fake, and we don't know who will win it yet. It might yet elude VVD and be awarded to Leo Messi which wouldn't be undeserved in truth, but to have 4 Liverpool players in the top 10 is an achievement of its own, in my opinion. If we remain consistent this year or in the next few years, it will be inevitable that a Liverpool player wins it.
YNWA.

02 Dec 2019 19:49:31
yes, really big for Liverpool to have so many of our players in the Top Ten,
brilliant .

02 Dec 2019 20:26:02
Get in there Allison,
Kop That .

02 Dec 2019 20:34:57
Yeah the unlogical has happened. Messi has won it. Absolitley 0 sense. RedWolf couldn't say it better. Pft.

{Ed025's Note - dont worry mart VAR will probably take a look and give it to VVD mate..

02 Dec 2019 20:40:04
Plus how on the video after he was anounced as a winner it showed him preparing for a picture with the 6th ballondor. it has been given to him in advance? Jeez.

{Ed025's Note - have a day off marto mate..

02 Dec 2019 20:42:53
Ed025 it's getting embarasing for you and everyone who keeps on this VAR and LFC thing. We were given from VAR as much as we were taken. Please stop with the nonsense. I know Everton are not doing well but this ain't the way, yes we may joke with each other but now it's getting embarasing. ✌.

{Ed025's Note - rubbish marto, you know as well as i that the reds are getting all the decisions mate, i tell you whats embarrassing though, the clamour for VVD to win the ballon d,or and then when he fails you all cry like little tarts and call it a fiddle....now thats embarrassing..

02 Dec 2019 20:44:14
Like the Ed said, its a team game and Liverpool did really well this evening .

02 Dec 2019 20:54:31
Not sure how 51 goals in 50 games makes zero sense there?

VVD win would of been nice but credit where credits due, Messi clearly had a great season.

{Ed025's Note - kudos triangle..

02 Dec 2019 20:55:40
You keep on ed25. You don't have shame? Im not crying for VVD not wining, neither Im not crying for LFC player not wining or whatsoever. Im anoyned that Messi or Ronaldo have been given so much not deserved awards. I get it they are legends in this decade and they have been "ruinig lifes" for years now. But there were a lot of seasons there was a player who deserved it more than them - Ribery, VVD for examples. And please for real stop with the VAR nonsense. The biggest mistake of VAR so far this season, overall not only LFC related, has been againts us with the stupid armpit thing. I agree we were given lot by it, but ofc in the other peoples head only those decissions stay and no one says a thing when we were taken from VAR.

In overall VAR is not ready to be where it is now. It is not normal, we are talking more of it than we were talking for referees mistakes before.

{Ed025's Note - i will have that last bit marto, but as much as i admire VVD the fact that messi got 50 goals in as many games entitles him to some respect and where you get him and ronaldo ruining lives is just baffling...almost as much as putting ribery in the mix, he can hardly get a game..

02 Dec 2019 21:02:21
Triangle it makes 0 sense as before the award was given to players who achived more than just goals. It was looked at what the player bringed to the team he's been playing and what the team won + the national team. Luca Modric anyone? Suddenly Messi scores a lot of goals, I don't want to take that from him as its magnificent achivment, and he wins it. Meanwhile VVD has taken a long time dead Liverpool to win the CL and get second best points in the PL and the first best for LFC, also does well with Netherlands and wins the Nations League. Meh. Everyone has his views and opinions and I understand where you come from tho. But in my eyes the Ballon'dor has no standarts.

02 Dec 2019 21:05:18
Ed, ruining lifes was meant as on the field and the opponents. Did not mean that they ruin lifes for real. And for Ribery I didn't mean this year, he is past it. I mean the year where he was in the top 3, he was the clear winner and achived everything he could if my memory is not lying to me, yet he was not the winner.

{Ed025's Note - its all subjective marto mate..

02 Dec 2019 21:09:49
That's what I mean. Its all subjective. This year is given for goals, the other for what the player won with the team and etc.

03 Dec 2019 01:09:49
I think the fact that messi has been doing it year in year out for so long is making people look over how good a year he had, 50 goals in as many games is absolute incredible and its only when he stops playing well realise how remarkable it is absolutely relentless

VVD had an incredible year aswel and only the 10th defender to ever make the top 3 in the ballon d'or

To have 4 of the top 10 is also a great achievement for the club shows how well the club is viewed at the moment.

{Ed025's Note - i agree robbie..

03 Dec 2019 02:58:24
Messi scored 50+ goals and loads this season. We haven't had a clean sheet have we? Not for a while anyway.
If it was for last seasons performances it should have gone to big v.

03 Dec 2019 08:56:42
with or without VAR we would still be top of the league ed. can you still see the games through the tears.

only joking pal, thoughts on tomorrow night? think your lot will sit in and hang on for the point that you would have got last year if it wasn't for Pickford little arms?

{Ed025's Note - you will win it even without VAR ste, you are a very good side and will probably spank our arses tomorrow mate, in fact if we get a draw i will be doing somersaults up and down allerton rd..

03 Dec 2019 10:48:27
Ed025, the top teams always get the benefit of the doubt. Utd did for years. City have for a while. For years we have sat and watched the top top team in the league getting the benefit of the doubt. Now that team is us.

{Ed025's Note - very true that robbie and fergie time is a prime example of that, but when you are down like the blues it seems every decision goes against you, but you make your own luck in this game mate and the way we are performing we dont deserve any..

03 Dec 2019 19:04:04
IMO people running their mouths about how VAR is awarding LFC decisions should whind their necks in and stop embarrassing themselves by parroting pathetic talking points from triggered SM rival fans who are making such claims from a position of complete bias and bad faith.

VAR has screwed LFC 4 times this season already this season vs Newcastle, Villa (twice in the same game) and Utd. What were the outcome of those games? Yeah, 7 points out of 9. Now, why is that? Could it be cos instead of moaning, bitching and crying about VAR decisions that did not go our way like the Crying, Moaning Philosopher from The Etihad, they actually focus, continue to play their game, believe in their ability and fight for the win till the very last kick of the game? I have no idea, LOL.

Bottom line is that our boys don't care about VAR and don't fashion our preparation for games based on that. We go out there to fight, compete and hopefully win the game, VAR be damned and THAT, is what the pathetic rival fans spouting the same nonsense I see coming from some on here can't deal with. It is doing their heads in cos VAR or not, we have garnered 40 of 42 points on offer this season. It is killing them softly and I continue to get drunk off their tears. Long may that continue.

03 Dec 2019 22:54:43
I think we're getting carried away at times by how we think of VAR and speak of it like it's an excuse or in favour of certain teams.
This season we've completely ignored the poor standard of refereeing which is only getting worse and without VAR this season many of these decisions would be made by the ref regardless like any other season.

Against Leicester the ref blew for the penalty. Against United the ref never blew for origi foul. Firmino goal the flag went up for offside.

VAR has helped us twice when palace goal and Chelsea goals were both correctly ruled out, both times the ref should have made the right decision which would mean this topic never being spoken of. Without VAR manes goal may have stood against United for example but in general the swing of decisions for each team is pretty balanced. I hate when people say things like "oh VAR has contributed to such a team gaining a high number of beneficial calls while another team has suffered more". That's not any sort of argument when the right decision is made but people seem to think every VAR decision is biased even though it's much improved the percentage of wrong calls the ref would be making anyway. Everyone moaning about palace goal being chalked off even though it was the right decision clearly, if the ref had blown for the foul nobody would have argued his call but just because VAR had to make the right choice everyone was moaning we are getting some sort of luck? Nonesense really and it's the same advantage to every team over the season and certainly more accurate than a season where the ref will make far more errors.
