ED2 do you think Chelsea will buy in Jan now ban halved or will they stick with the kids? Assuming they will look to buy maybe one or two to provide squad depth. Thanks in advance for responding!

im not sure top top players would be clamouring to flock to chelsea right now
but the tier under that they might be looking at.

Cmon Johncrow. Chelsea have consistently been able to attract big name players. They’re well ran, consistently pretty successful, and they pay big name salaries. Idk why they would struggle to get those names anymore than the next English side.

Agree tj. Add to the fact they prob have a few more first 11 places up for grabs can see why some players would be interested rather than having to battle it out with the likes of salah mane etc.

So TjRed you telling me that if a player like mbappe right now said I want to come england and chelsea bid the most offered the highest wages he would chose them over say a liverpool or man city or juventus Barcelona or real if he wanted to go to other top teams

right now no top tier player will be choosing to go to chelsea
I think they would prefer to first see how a very inexperience manager gets on and where chelsea are heading over the next few seasons.

Living and playing in London is a big pull for the families of the footballers I think it’s fair to say that Arsenal can be ruled out as competition, Jose’s man management skills might put off a number of players to join Spurs, leaving Chelsea (a Champions League winner) as the place to go with their top wages.
