Crazy to think that had Milner not slotted in the 94th minute penalty against Leicester we would only be 4 points clear of them. Make no mistake we are breaking records but Leicester are this season’s Liverpool!

Pretty sure it would be five points, not four.

We need to make sure we best Leicester on Boxing Day.

Beat Leicester.

Best works well too. A victory will be great though. Could this be the game where we go into meltdown and spiral down the table?

Mr Ezra. You're right! This is why the Eds tell me to stay away from numbers.
You'd never believe I was a Chartered Accountant!

its clear you have not got the memo walter.
Klopp has built a team of mentality giants, 33 games unbeaten only 1 defeat in nearly a year.
We may drop points here and there but spiral down the table? we won't be doing that any time soon.
The experience of last season is clearly driving the team on which is why no matter what side gets picked we are getting the job done whilst also reducing the risk of key players suffering from burn out.
46 points from a possible 48 has given us the platform to go on and win that elusive premier league title.
Whoever finishes above us wins the league.
Its time for you to think positive!

TBH I'd take a draw on Boxing Day given the amount of games we'll have played in December. One point each doesn't help them much and keeps them as far away from us as they currently are. I can see City beating them anyway before we have to play them.

I hope you are correct King Kenny. There's been a few teams in the past that had a good lead and blew it, Newcastle springs to mind.
Let's just hope we carry on picking up the points and finally land our 1st premiership crown.

Spot on, KK7. I will do you one better or two better. Since the draw with Everton last season, our boys have amassed a an insane 79 of a possible 81 points in 27 games. Also, LFC are virtually undefeated (one loss) in the past 18 months or 55 games in the PL. What our boys and manager are accomplishing right here, right now before our very eyes, is staggering.

NegativeWalter, I fully agree with you that nothing is decided yet BUT pls, using the old "Newcastle lost this or that no. of points" schstick no longer applies here, IMO. That Newcastle team is not even in the same Solar System as our current crop in terms of quality, desire, mental toughness and and will to win. I am no longer worried about ANYTHING with this team. Not anymore. If we lose or drop points? Sound, we fix the issue and go again. Uo Da Pool.

And that one defeat was courtesy of something like 11mm. Stunning record and just hope the team can get through the next 4-5 weeks unscathed.
