Ed002 youve mentioned previously that one of the big problems that Jose has with Manu was that he didn't see them as a club prepared to make the necessary changes in order to challenge for titles. i was wondering
1.if Manu are now making the necessary changes
2. Is Spurs the sort of club that coaches like jose would see as being professionally run?
3. What sort of things does Liverpool still need to do to be considered in the league of "well-run clubs".

{Ed002's Note - (1) No, they are not making changes. (2) Only time will tell if Levy provides Mr Mourinho with what he needs - he says he will. (3) Liverpool has improved by the coach must stop making illegal approaches and tapping up players of other clubs and they still need to sort out the loan system and get it working for the club better.}

Thanks for the reply Ed002.

I think Mr Mourinho will be a big success at Spurs. He is a fantastic manager and will bring them some much craved silverware.

In respect of Liverpool and their loan system - it does seem frustrating that it still seems a bit unorganised. Is this something that a Director of Football would usually be in charge of? Long term planning and overview of youngsters progression to first team etc? I remember a few years back FSG wanted to bring someone in, have these plans stopped?

thanks for the continued contribution to this site - heres to hoping santa clause brings you many a fancy bottles of gin to celebrate the festive period.

Red Sandman.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, typically a DoF or equivalent is in charge of such a system. However, Chelsea's loan system runs well although at this time they do not have a DoF. The club has no plan to bring in a DoF at the moment (as far as I am aware). Enjoy your holiday season.}

Thanks mate.
Regarding Spurs, is that just financial support that Levy has promised or are there other things that Jose wants to see done?

From stuff Lampard and others said last year, it does sound like our loan system is improving (though its hard to see how it could have got any worse from a few years back)

{Ed002's Note - Mr Mourinho wanted certain guarantees and certain people involved and certain control. He has been assured that is cool. I don’t know what Lampard has said about the Liverpool loan system.}

Lampard made reference to the club being in regular contact with both him and Wilson and that they had a clear vision in mind of what they wanted the loan to achieve.

{Ed002's Note - I am not sure that means much.}
