Does Minamino play as a striker though? Seems more of a wide forward than a central one even though I’ve seen him play more centrally a few times. Brewster needs at least a loan spell in the PL (ideally) to really then make a decision on him.

I feel that origi won't be played as a wingwr any mor, he will b played as a striker hence Brewster will find it problematic.

Brewster is most likely going out on loan in January to gain some first team experience. Not the end for Brewster at all, he's been linked with Leeds, Bristol, Brentford and Swansea, good teams with good managers playing similar-ish styles to Liverpool, we know that Klopp values having certain players at the right age prove themselves out on loan rather than playing and stagnating in the U23 side. Brewster, Jones, Kelleher and Kane are all too old by Liverpool's standards for the U23's so a loan is preferable.

On a side note I reckon that the signing of Minamino is low risk, a £7.25m bargain, we could sell him on easily for a big profit or perhaps his arrival could indicate a change in formation for Liverpool (4231 formation with Firmino dropping back etc) or at the very least give adequate cover to the front 3 (Second string front 3 would be Shaqiri, Origi Minamino) Overall this signing could create more positives than negatives for Liverpool if it happens.

I see your though process there and you could well be right barring any injuries. A loan spell for him is definitely needed, he's still young and has potential, I just hope he doesn’t go the same way so many other promising young strikers out of the academy have gone.

The thing that separates a good successful academy starlet from the rest of the former academy talents we've had is attitude (Ojo, Kent and Flanagan had attitude problems whilst on loan at Wolves/ Fulham Barnsley/ Bristol City and Burnley. Jerome Sinclair thought he was to good for a loan) . A loan move is the best opportunity to test a players attitude because unlike U23 games the results have huge consequences for the clubs involved. If you can perform well, handle the pressure and have a good attitude about all aspects of the situation (being played out of position, team on a bad run of form, being a sub/ not starting, the increased physicality of the league, injury/ recovery, the lack of luxury and protection that Liverpool offers) That's how a good player is made these days, Harry Kane is the prime example of this. I believe Brewster will succeed because his mentality has always been good.

I watched Minamino at Anfield and couldn't get enough of him. Me and my brother wanted him signed straight after that, but you all say he's a wide player or striker? I can tell you now he played as a number 10 in that game and tore us apart from there. I think we'll use him as a Creative midfielder I'm positive of it. Got to change them pink boots though 😂.
