Hi Ed001, I hope your well mate. Just read down the page think it was just yesterday someone asked about Minamino and you said we have shown no interest. Was this a case of Klopp deciding very quickly that he wants him so things then changed, or was it another sign of things being kept closely under wraps with no info leaking out?

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate sorry. It will be afterwards that it will be a case of finding out whether Klopp jumped in or whether they had been thinking it over for a while. The likelihood is a bit of both though.}

I think it makes sense to buy a player who performed well against us. It won't be the first time.

I disagree, Robbie. I have never likes the idea of signing a player JUST cos he played well against us and I don't think That it was just for that reason that he was signed. Remember how BR signed Bogdan and Benteke cos they played well against us> Where are they now and what was their contribution to LFC's cause? Exactly.

Like Ed, I think Minammino had been scouted for a while before now and him killing it against us may just have been the confirmation we need that he was the right fit for us. Just my opinion.

Whilst ed1 and others are founts of knowledge, I think we should shift our expectation that they know everything that happens every second of the day.

Agree faith, they are not going to know everything that happens. Good little signing in my opinion. Made sweeter by the fact United wanted him.
