What would your dream shopping list consist of to improve what is an already fantastic team without upsetting what we already have? Personally I would love to see Koulibaly paired with VVD and Gomez and Joel as backup. Always fancied Isco pulling the strings in AM but not sure anymore with him. Who would you love to add to the squad?

I think that Gomez is a much better all-round footballer than Koulibaly personally.
Liverpool look so much better with Gomez and VVD, the perfect modern pairing at centre back - quick, technically sound, very good distribution.
They’re perfect for the way we want to play.

{Ed025's Note - you think gomez is better than koulibaly juicer?...come on mate get a grip, gomez looks good alongside VVD...bloody hell i would look good along side him mate, and we have seen joe alongside matip and lovren where he looked like a born again djimi traore...say no to drugs.. :)

It’s actually very difficult to improve our first 11.

Gomez is a huge talent and could well become a top class centre back given time, which is why I’d be reluctant to replace him. If I were to though, I’d probably go for Milan Skriniar at Inter, or Varane at Madrid.

You could also arguably upgrade one of our CMs, Saul Niguez would be my personal pick of the bunch.

I’m not sure it’s possible to improve on the first 11, they are the best team in the world right now, I know you can find better players but would you swap any of our players out to fit them in? It would disrupt the team chemistry. So any incomings would have to be for cover. We could do with a player who could cover for Trent and Robertson, maybe another attacking player to come in for cover?

Koulibaly is an ale house player Ed, perfect for Everton 💩.

{Ed025's Note - your having a giraffe juicer, koulibaly is second only to VVD mate, i am going to send you a stamp so you can write on it all you know about football mate.. :)

Hernandez from Bayern to cover left back and centre back, de Bruyne to cover midfield and number 10, wings too, freeing Salah and Mané to cover for Bobby.

Dream shopping list? I’m pretty sure Messi and Mbappe would “do a job”.

Agree that it’s very difficult to improve this team. Squad wise I would say we struggle for cover at fullback. But then who can cover the best playmaking fullbacks in the world? I like the look of the Norwich lads - Lewis and Aarons - but how often would they play? Sessegnon and Firpo were two linked previously and the logic was they could play multiple positions which makes sense. But alas they’ve moved elsewhere. A few people are talking about this QPR kid called Eberechi Eze but I cannot say I’ve seen him.

The Minamino and Elliott signings offer promise and cover for our front line. I honestly didn’t realise Elliott was this good. I wonder if he’s going to be knocking on the door before too long. Of course if we’re playing fantasy football then adding another speed merchant like Chukuweze, Bailey, Sancho or Werner might be an idea.

In midfield, you can’t fault the guys we play there. And Curtis looks like he’s got the tenacity and talent to break into the team in the future. However if you are playing fantasy football again you could look to Saul, Havertz and Auoar.

At CB, I’d say we have the best partnership around in VVD and Gomez. And I think Hoever is a star in the making. Matip provides decent cover so maybe replacing Lovren is the obvious move. Upamecano, Dias, Gimenez would be great but also unlikely. Hearing good things about Ben White from Leeds so perhaps a possibility there.

FPF.

Like everyone else I’d love Son but as a wildcard I adore Ozil. We all know that while he’s ridiculously talented he can go missing in big games; I’d love to see if Klopp could make him a consistently effective number ten. He is so skillful it’s close to Messi or Zidane levels sometimes.

Cant think of anyone tbh. Reason isn't about talent but about fit, in particular thinking about characteristics like personality, mentality etc etc.

I'm sure there are other players in the world with better FIFA ratings that we could plug in to the team.

Doesn't Koulibaly play the same side as big Verg, Gomez is doing great, don't fix something that ain't broke.

Messi me b#%#%%x yeah he’s the best we’ve seen but like to see him do it in the premier league on a wet winter Wednesday down in stoke when u had Ryan shawbreaker Hittin him hard! All that asides I’d have Kante aumbangurgranny and Laporte.

Cover for full backs and De Buryne.

With Ed25 on this one, Juicer. No way on this earth is Gomez better than Khoulibaly. Not even close. Were we unsuccessful in getting vVD, he would be my automatic choice. Khoulibaly is simply amazing and is the only CB I have seen that can match Salah for pace, which is frightening in it of itself. Gomez is very good and on the verge of being great BUT a Khoulibaly, he is not, man.

{Ed025's Note - your right there RM..
