Apparently Rashford, Greenwood and Martial have scored 39 goals this season whereas our world class front 3 have only scored 38 😱😱

I guess that's what stat padding against farmers on a Thursday night does for you 😉🤣 bring on Sunday! 👊.

Even if that is true. I wouldn’t swap any of our 3!

16 Jan 2020 17:07:22
Could do with one of the front 3 actually turning up v Man U. Mane has done ok a couple of times v Man U but Salah and Firmino have been dire again'st our biggest rivals. I think between them they only have 1 goal in about 20 matches combined.

It's one of the last things we need to improve on, play to our potential agains't Man U.

16 Jan 2020 17:09:15
Never heard of em.

16 Jan 2020 17:30:53
That one goal more doesn’t make them 14 points clear at the top of the league though.

16 Jan 2020 17:36:37
I totally agree with you mark.

16 Jan 2020 18:41:58
Exactly longthing! In fairness to the lads, i can't remember the last time we played them and they didn't just park the double decker 🤣.

16 Jan 2020 18:58:46
They'll try and play this time, I can feel it. Ole was so big headed after they beat city he will be hungry to win against us and I reckon they'll try and shock us.

I reckon 3 up by half time is not out of the question, then take the foot off the gas 2nd half.

16 Jan 2020 19:27:29
They won’t Robbiesline, same old as their City victory I think.
It’s a dangerous game for us.
Having said that, remember the 1980s and our dominant league-winning teams, the record against Man Utd was terrible.
I’ll take that trade-off, tbh.

16 Jan 2020 19:34:38
another myth busted - we need a 20+ goal a season striker to win the league.

16 Jan 2020 19:36:12
Robbie, Ole was not as big-headed when he got his bell rung by the same City team at OT last week now, was he? In fact, he embarrassed himself after the game talking some utter "BR" type dross about City being scared of them cos they played their strong team.

Therefore, I fully expect Utd to play the same way they have always played away from home vs the big teams cos well, that worked vs City. I would be shocked if they came out to play against us in an open way BUT I could be wrong. As for us, all we have to do is just play the game itself, NOT the occasion cos I know all the pre-game hype is inevitable BUT we need to just treat it as a home game we have to win or not get beat. Just my opinion.

We’ll hammer them, our team has moved on and now know they’re on a different level to the likes of United. Fear played a part the last few matches with them, that’s all gone now - look at the Leicester match for an example.

16 Jan 2020 19:47:48
It’s ok, Bobby is going to run riot on Sunday.

16 Jan 2020 20:32:32
Greenwood, Martial and Rashford have 39 goals but 13 of those came in the League Cup or Europa League.

Our front 3 have 38 but they all came in the Premier League, Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup.

Plus our front 3 defend much harder from the front. You can never underestimate how much it takes out their legs doing that whilst Rashford, Grenwood and Martial wait around to be passed the ball.

16 Jan 2020 20:39:26
Always same, people saying we will smash em. then we play badly and draw. Fingers crossed we do mind!

17 Jan 2020 00:15:16
Man who?

17 Jan 2020 15:52:11
How does it matter how many they score, if they're letting far more goals in, and losing more games than us? I couldn't care less if they scored 49 goals. It's the games won that really matter. And we win games by our defenders attacking when they can, and our attackers defending, when they can. If you know what I mean.
