Seen reports linking us with Kai havertz and Sandro tonoli

I couldn't help but think that personally jones and Chirivella are very much in the mould of the previous mentioned or do you see havertz and tonoli different than i do . But if they wer pursued by the club surely it would be to the detriment of Jones and Chirivella ( probably leaving anyway)

Can’t pretend i’ve seen either but they seem to be highly rated by the right people, that is to say i haven’t seen the Eds have a bad word to say about either and it doesn’t seem to be based on pure hype like in the case of someone like Grealish or James Rodriguez.

I’ve pretty much reached a point where i am not fussed about transfers because the club know far more than i do and have brought in so many good players of late that i doubted initially. Whoever they bring in i trust their opinion, whoever they choose not to get i believe is for the right reasons.

However i do firmly believe that while their may be something in it when we are linked to these players, i believe it is more just a case that the club has scouted them, that they rate them and keep tabs on them, not that their signing is imminent. I think the club are more than happy to let Jones take Lallana’s spot in the team, another DM would barely get a look in with Fabinho’s form and henderson playing very well in the position of late.

Havertz and Sonali are both probably good players we have looked at before but i’m not sure we’re desperate to bring in any more midfielders at this time.

Havertz is top class, his skills remind me of Zidane but will score more goals than Zizou! Really hope we get him.

Maybe we never need to buy another player again. If two of our young players who have 0 league starts between them are as good as two of the best young players in the world then we are gold!

Ed’s has explained on both players, neither happening I’m afraid. Interest in Tonali has gone and nothing in Havertz.

I said I’m the mould of so would they play similar positions to what we have coming through which would stunt their growths as players .

Jones is a top young player and will make it here, but he is still just 18.Over the next 3 to 4 years we will probably see all of Lallana, Millie, Gini and Hendo move on. There will be room for both Jones and Havertz, that's if he's actually even really a target.

Nothing happening on Van Dijk, LOL? Only a summer full of tapping up, the player downing tools, making a formal transfer request and then joining months later after FSG being forced into (an apologetic) letter of lack of interest in the player.
