Tough game last night against a team who played out of their skin at home under the floodlights against the European and World Club champions and gave it a real go.

However, Wolves have won only 8 games this season and only 1 in their last 5/ 6 matches, so let's see how they get on in their next few fixtures.

Every team will raise their game against us especially trying to be the ones to end our unbeaten run.

The injury to Mane though is bad news as after he went off our attacking threat diminished remarkably.

To be fair the game followed the normal pattern of this season. We tend to blow teams away for the first half hour, then have a resting period in the middle 30, and then turn it on after 60 minutes to see games out. That's been to pattern of play in most games I've watched us in to be honest! So unclear whether it was connected to Mane or not. I think the main thing we missed with Mane was how well he screens Robbo. Robertson is not great defensively but gets away with it because Mane is defensively the best left winger I've ever seen.

Klopp has come out and said Traore was unplayable. I trust the judgement of the best manager in Europe. Robbo will have him next time.

What I will say about traore. He seems to know when to drop deep when his team are attacking down the left and that gives him space to move into and pick his head up for a cross.

I don't think he's as good as people think. This is going to sound horrible, don't get me wrong, it's not what I want, but someone is going to put one on him soon. These top class defenders don't like getting skinned by pace and little talent and some nasty cb is going to snap soon, I can feel it.

I've watched the highlights again as I can't find the full game. And any wolves fans who think they were better, I'd urge them to have a look at the number of chances both teams had. We had tonnes. And mino would have got a debut goal if salah had played him in. Mino did everything right and salah went for goal. There was an almost identical chance where salah should've played in Aoc.

That would've been 4 1. Wolves had two good chances and one went in. The other looked it should've gone in (at 2 1) but was a much harder chance than it looked. Was never going in. There were a couple of half chances for wolves but we had them at bay for the most part. Whereas with a bit of passing from our front 3 (mainly salah) we could have come away 5 1. 5 2 to be generous to wolves.
