I know the club have set aside tickets for local people with a L postcode but they need to think about other fans. My mate got charged £350 for a ticket that had a price tag of £9 it was a local ticket for a L postcode. Hard enough getting tickets for matches and have airlines and hotels robbing at the same time don't need ither fans doing it too. The cost of a flight to liverpool from Belfast for the monday after the last game of season is already £180 one way.

Agreed mate. I’ve Seen tickets for £10k a piece towards the end of the season now the league is possible. Insane! Stick to my champions league home fixtures.

Do they not have teams you could support in Ireland? If you create a demand the price will rise obviously. People should not be able to resell tickets at inflated prices but that's capitalism. Flights hotels etc will obviously raise prices during peak demand which they absolutely have the right to do! Basically pay the premium for the privilege of being there like thousands of others.

I have as much right to watch the team I love as the everyone Kyle. Local fans abusing their privilege of getting tickets for £9 is my issue. Evertime people from ireland go to a match we make sacrifices be it with work or prices, do local fans make them same sacrifices? Football in the north of Ireland is sectarian crap, wouldn't go to watch it if u played me.

It's not the regular fans we should be mad at. The guys that go to every game, even when we're 8th, with jovanovic as the maim man.

It's the corporate seats that wind me up. It just isn't right.

In the Premier league, which club is the hardest to get tickets for? I would think us and utd. But as utds ground is so much bigger I'm guessing it's us.

Here's a way round it. I could rent a flat in liverpool apply for £9 tickets then with the £346 profit I make on each ticket that can pay my rent. U call it capitalism I call I exploitation. All I'm asking is for a fair crack at getting tickets.

I have an L postcode and still have never managed to get one through this method. Its frustrating wanting to go to the game and see people exploiting people cor such a huge amount of money.

Roro1892, calling them “local fans” is a bit of a misdescription. I think “exploitative local ticket touts” would be more accurate. They take cynical advantage of the club’s genuine attempt to make some tickets available to locals at a reduced price. If anyone comes across one of these touted tickets, I suggest they contact the club and have the tout banned from receiving any more tickets.
