Well said Salah, that’s the true Liverpool spirit. A proper team, playing with cohesion and effort, put up a real fight against a group of more talented players who have not played together before nor had much preparation time. Sadly, the FA Cup has lost a lot of its old magic for me but I could see what it meant to the Shrewsbury players, management and fans. And they get a trip to Anfield under the lights - good for them!

Yeah they done well. The fans annoyed me though. Anyone hear what they were singing? "your support Is f###king s##t" made me laugh, then pissed me off.

I think the kids will give them a hiding at anfield. Put them back in their place. But what a night for them. Shows the difference in class is not as big as some people imagine.

Robbiesline, most opposition fans sing nonsensical songs like that and the equally fatuous “Where’s your famous atmosphere? ” and “This is a library” at Anfield. Manchester United were at it during last week’s game when I could hardly hear myself think. It’s just another manifestation of social media trolling- ignore the cretins.

Shewsbury showed up today and gave it a real go. Brilliant perf. from them esp. since they played really good football esp. in the second half to to get the comeback. Bravo to the club and its fans!
