Ed02, does Melissa Reddy actually have any inside knowledge that you know of please? Read what looked a great article from her in the Independent about Liverpool's summer plans but I noticed a few inconsistencies in what she said to what I heard on here. I. e. Salah isn't looking to leave (despite hearing his agent has been flaunting him around) and the Coutinho transfer came completely out of the blue as he had shown no intention to leave (been tapping up Neymar for over a year hadn’t he) .

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea, I cannot answer for other who say things in the media. I have explained the Salah situation all the way through - I don't know what she has said that is different. Coutinho was a not out of the blue transfer as I had explained for more than 6 months what was going on and even named the hotel where a meeting was held during a wedding - people here simply said it wasn't true. I have no idea what she has said.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think she mainly puts two and two together. As much as a fan I’d love to see Sancho or someone join if none of the first team leave its obvious we won’t be moving for a 80+million pound player.

Next season hopefully the likes of keita and Minamino get up to speed we know it took this group of players a few seasons to get to the standard they’re are currently plus Curtis Jones is hopefully only going to get better.

Even without reading Ed002's posts on the matter, I don't know how anyone could describe Coutinho's move as 'out of the blue'. He was rumoured to want that move for about 2 years until he got it.

Of course it wasn't out of the blue. We were on here treating about it for months. Little did we know it would transform us.

People say they can't see us going for £80 million pound players but if that so I can only see us going for another summer of signing up great youth (elliott, Van den berg) along the lines of Bellingham from Birmingham. i don't have any real problem with this but if we are going to buy senior players good enough for this squad I think were looking at AT LEAST the £60m price range right up to £80 or £90m. People point to the prices paid for Mo, Sadio and Gini as if that's still the norm but the Neymar sale blew them kinda prices outa the water, more or less doubling players values.

I reckon they'll settle back down a bit, I really do. And I think that has some bearing on our recent activity. Maybe not but. And its still possible to pick up bargains. Mino, shaq,

Hi Ed01 and Ed02

I believe she (Mellisa Reddy) was 1 of the journalists Klopp briefed about his interest in Van Dijk, Brandt, Keita and Sessegnon in 2017.Am I correct?

{Ed002's Note - I would not have thought that the Liverpool supporters want to open up that rather sordid affair again.}

I love Salah and if he wants to leave to pursue his dream then I support that too and will remain a fan.

But i don't think he's going anywhere next year purely as the people who can buy him don't have the money.

Madrid is stacked they have so many players, they just got hazard

Barcelona will get Neymar and that will be there big money buying

Will Salah want to go to PSG?

Bayern will not spend so much plus they want Sane and Kai Havertz.
