I can’t believe I’m writing this but I no longer view the “rumours page”. I don’t care if we do or don’t bring anyone in anymore. The squad is perfect right now. Of course there will be movings in and out but I just don’t feel like I need to worry about it until it happens. I trust the Liverpool back office all the way.

I don't want to be a downer, but we still can't compete with some clubs in terms of wages and transfer fees. This means there is a chance of losing some stars. Imagine losing salah, mane and van djike in one summer. We'd be in real trouble.

So it's still worth checking for that reason.

But I agree with incoming. I totally trust the team to bring in top class players.

It’s indicative of how far we’ve come that there clearly aren’t any notable gaps to be filled in the team, even so far as the bench goes! I hope Klopp uses this exceptional head start to bring through young talent like Jones, Elliott and Hoever etc. as that could give us a huge financial advantage in the long run as the likes of Lallana, Shaqiri and (god forbid) Milner etc. move on or retire.
