Ed001 there was a pass from Bobby I think in the first half that was so good last night even the commentator was left speechless just did not quite come to anything and the attack ended and there was no replay. was like a little reverse pass there was 2 of are players there but it was the one so far the other way I don't know how he turned his foot that much.

{Ed001's Note - he did a few things yesterday that were a bit special. At times he was on a different planet to the rest last night with some of those little touches and pieces of skill.}

That pass you’re referring to. I thought he got his foot stuck on the ball when I watched it in real time but when they slowed it down I could then see the genius that is our Bobby.

One of these days the unbelievable skill will end up as a goal that is featured in the top goals of all time.

If we're talking about the same pass (i think it was from Keita and back to Keita) it was like a full 180 degree "rabona". Beauty to watch and nobody expected it. I've never seen it done so smoothly before, ever.

Grino I recall the one you mean! I was watching and wondered what he’d done! Was waiting for a reply to fathom it out but they didn’t show again. It’d be worth watching the match again to see.

He done a touch and attempted volley last night that reminded me a bit of Bergkamp. Unreal players.

{Ed025's Note - bobby is a good player redhead, but lets not put him in the bergkamp bracket just yet mate, you will be saying lovren reminds you of beckenbauer next..

Bobby didn't have a good game last night. The best thing he did was track back 50 yards to help defend and won the ball. Going forward he offered very little, 3 times he had a clear run into the area but within a few strides he lost the ball. The open goal miss summed up his evening. We should be talking about the real skill in the game which was Mane's control and finish, no other player on the pitch could have scored that goal, WOW.

Hendo was very good again in both positions.

yeah! that pass in real time, looked like he fudged it, but the replay highlighted the skill and dexterity. "without boosting anyone up just yet. " he might be one of the best ever to play for us, in that role. just saying.

That particular skill I've only seen once before and it was another Brazilian. Garrincha used the same manoeuvre to dribble past an opponent once.

Bobby didn't have a poor game mark mate. He was our best player bar hendo. Mane was great when he came on.

That pass was pure class, he is so good.

Mane was more effective in 20mins than Bobby was in 90. It was very much style over substance for Bobby yesterday and proved how much we miss Mane when he doesn't play.

16 Feb 2020 15:43:53
Of course we miss mane, but we've still been winning without him. Bobby did everything except put the ball in the net. It wasn't his best game ever, but he was far from poor.

We didn't win yesterday without Mane we needed him to get the 3 points. Salah was no better than Bobby yesterday and we lacked a cutting edge until Mane came on. The conditions and the time off didn't help

We will just have to agree to disagree on Bobby's performance.

Ed25, no one said Lovs is like Beckenbauer ever, so chill out with the exagerrative stuff. We are all just appreciating a great football moment (Which it was) and getting excited about it and getting fired up for our Bobbie Dazzler. Or are we no longer allowed to get fitred up when our players entertain us anymore just cos someone or some people's feelings could get hurt?

{Ed025's Note - i remember you waxing lyrical about how lovren schooled ronaldo in the WC mate so people who live in glass houses and all that, i think i have beem more than generous of how liverpool have played this season..
