Ed001, Origi as a left winger, your thoughts?

{Ed001's Note - depends on the opponent. He really needs to work on his crossing to play there regularly. }

Agree0 Disagree0

For me Ed001 he slows play down far to much out there.

I like Origi and I think there is a better player in there than we usually see, and he has scored some important goals, but for me he probably needs to play through the middle to play to his strengths, but maybe he needs to find a team that play to his strengths. Or when we do bring him on later on, play him through the middle and change things a little, I'd like to have seen 4-2-3-1 with Firmino as Attacking Mid and Origi up top, or even Ox in the AM role. The game presented a similar problem to those teams we used to constantly struggle against.

He looks like he's overthinking things and hesitating. Can't make up his mind between trying to get by the opposing player or cross. So he chooses to pass sideways or backwards. He's best suited as a CF. Just swivel and shoot. Get an open space in the box and shoot.

I quite like him on the left wing. Okay he isn't as creative as mane but he has the ability to score from anywhere in that wing. I like milner behind him as he offers the creativity and defensive ability. I think we need molly in the team more. Is he still injured?

I disagree, I think he's wasted on the wing. How often does he create goals from there like you claim? His impact always comes from poaching or snap shots within 10 yards of goal. He doesn't create assists, rarely sprints past a defence and doesjt score goals from nothing. His best showing this year was vs everton where he scored twice by playing through the centre.
