For all the ongoing petty and frankly embarrassing digs about Klopp by someone on this site (my gran before she passed away always said "jealousy makes you ugly" and she was very wise! ) it's good to see the fantastic example on the BBC this morning of the most important thing in life which is of course being a decent human being.

Read Klopps reply to the 10 year old Man united fan who wrote to him asking to start losing games as it made him sad. Brilliant stuff.

{Ed047's Note - seriously? Who?

I have just heard him telling radio ulster about what he sent and received back from Klopp.

He is a 10 year old kid who wrote to Klopp to ask would he consider losing some matches to stop Liverpool winning the league.

Klopp sent him a reply which was pretty much a full a4 page explaining how it was his job to win matches. Very humorous from Klopp and the fact he took the time to reply shows him in a good light.

{Ed002's Note - Klopp will have signed it but he certainly would not have written it.}

I’m sure someone’s opinion on Klopp on here doesn’t have too much affect on his days mate.

The language used in the letter does make me think it was actually Klopp who wrote (or dictated it) but being a realist I do have to agree with ed002 on that one.

Regardless of who wrote it, it's nice to see that the club actually responded when it could have been easily dismissed.

Whatever anyone says, it's a nice touch by the club and Klopp.

Ed002, I have just watched Klopp giving his pre-West Ham media conference. He was asked about the exchange of letters with the young Manchester United fan in Ireland. He confirmed that the lad’s letter was brought to his attention although not all letters are and that he wrote the reply himself. Is he lying?

{Ed002's Note - Typically he would never see letters and replies are written by folks who work for Ms Black - so in this case he might have written the letter - or as you suggest is lying again.}

Ed002, thanks for the reply. I was not suggesting for a moment that Klopp is lying, I believe him to be an honest, genuine guy. I was asking you the question because you had stated in an earlier reply that “he certainly would not have written it himself”.

{Ed002's Note - If he did write it, it would be unusual. Do you think the Beatles signed all of those autographs sent back to fans writing in?}

Nice one Klopp!

I'm just pleased the club took the time to respond in any capacity. We need to do more like this. Get involved in more charitable events also. This is an area in which everton are ahead of us and we can't have that.
