Good afternoon Ed001. Trust all is well. Small request, if possible, and only if it does not cause undue inconvenience on the site and the Eds. Please have someone go back to policing the live chat. There are still neanderthal specimens making appearances and killing the atmosphere there, while parading themselves as virtuous supporters on these banter pages. Too many people think that the right to an opinion includes the right to abuse. Thanks for considering.

I don't have the patience nor the calmness to be able to do it, sadly. I lose my cool so easily with some of the guys, (and you know me well enough to know I fly off the handle from time to time 😉 ) . Otherwise, I'm there every game, and love chatting with the guys there and would have done it.

I love the live chat, its great when we win but when we lose its just a hive of abuse. Being critical of the team is fine, but some of it is laughable, one being that our season has gone up in smoke and that we have bottled it. I think there is still a long way to go yet!

Wyred it's been ridiculous I have stopped chatting on there I drop in but its mainly to chat to you aray midlands robbie and the regular realist fans there is great banter and on Saturday I was soooooo drunk i couldn't read or write but I tried my best 😋😋.

I've never used the live chat but in the heat of the moment we all say things which are utter nonsense so I can imagine it being interesting to say the least 😅.

Not to belabour the point, but last night was above the limits. Calling yourself a supporter and then calling the players "prostitutes" several times throughout the game is really not "interesting". It's evidence of lack of breeding, education and functional brain cells.

I think ArAy is referring to Kloppo324, who basically just tried to get under everyone's skin, basically being a total moron. It's a pity because there can be good banter between posters, then you have one tube trying to ruin it for everyone.
If Kloppo324 was a school kid then I would give him a by ball but sadly I don't think he is, which makes you think what type of sad sack gets his kicks out of being a complete arse on a banter site? so come on Kloppo324 grow up man, get yourself a life man.
Strangely enough I've never seen him post once on the site, yet spends most matches on the live chat.

There's policing it and then there's kicking people out because they share a different opinion to you. I hope whoever does do it realises this. I took what Kloppo (and everyone else) said last night with a pinch of salt and did it effect me? No. I'm a 38 year old man so i would be a little bit concerned if i was worrying to much about what got said on a football live chat with people i've never met or likely to meet. For me from what i read, no personal insults were made so i don't really see what the big fuss is about. Perhaps people should tell their mums on him or get their dad to beat his dad up as their dad is bigger than his dad lol. Anyway look forward to chatting to you all next live game.

I think the kloppo person probably rubbed a few up the wrong way. I wasnt sure he was even a fan. personally i love it on there with JK, Berg, ArAy, Wyred, Ugbes, longthing, and loads more, from the realistic fans on there you can see its just thought out criticism or frustration and from a standpoint of watching nearly every game, I can't get to Anfield due to work but online i've not missed a game for at least 4 years and i always have the chat on while im watching.

I'm on the live chat because I can scream "we will win" and I get away with it every time. If I tried that here, I'd immediately be called "a pompous and egoist ass, sitting on a high horse and thinking my favored team has a divine right to win every game". 🤷‍♂️.

Jk23 most of the time it can be a simple misunderstanding like how two people can get different meaning from the same txt sorta like lost in translation but a simple chat can often sort these things out anyway let's chat during the next match and enjoy ourselves.

Irish I agree mate but from what I’ve seen on there is other fans pretending to be LFC fans and on the wind up. If us being successful has driven them to waste their time on doing it then so be it. I wonder if the other teams chats have other clubs fans on them as well. I’ve not seen any personal insult comments so if I’ve missed them then I understand and agree there is no place for it. But if it’s people trying to give us banter. Let’s just give it them back. Instead of telling the Ed’s on them and like you said wasting their time.
