I think it shows how far we have come as a team that some of us feel disappointed that we will only win the league this year.

Similarly last year many of us felt the same about only winning the champs league.

I became a fan the season after we last won the league, so I have never seen Liverpool win the league. I don't really care about records I care about seeing the players, manager and fans get the success to match the heart that's been put in recently.

I've never been too bothered about the league Cup, or FA Cup they always felt like distractions to the big one (the league) so I'm not heartbroken at leaving those trophies (though I'd like Klopp to win them at least once) .

Even if we don't win the champs league let's not get doom and gloom. Two finals and one trophy already and to be honest it's nobody's first choice anyway.

Let's try to remember football is an endless journey. What you don't win now, you can win in future but not if you're too busy complaining about what you didn't win before.

Spot on mate. At the start of the season we entered 6 competitions.

We are realistically going to win 3 of them. And the Carabao Cup knockout to Villa was a joke from a fixture scheduling perspective.

There is so much to be proud of. Get behind the team next week and we could still be fighting for 4/ 6!

At this point I just want us to start playing well / performing to our best - the rest will take care of itself. We definitly need reinforcements in the summer though and I mean 1st team players. A proper striker and a good quick passer of the ball should do it.

{Ed002's Note - To replace which players?}

A proper striker?
Are we going to try and sneak 12 players onto the pitch?
If not, who gets dropped and why?
And good quick passing is an absolute minimum must have for a Klopp player, right down to the goalkeeper.

I don’t agree with your opinion we need to ship players out to get new in. I think if we play over 60 games a season there is room for a striker like Werner to take pressure off the front 3 and cover injuries and apart from fab and Henderson I think we can improve all rest of the midfield by adding someone who can pass the ball / see passes more quickly than what we have.

I'd definitely bring new players in to challenge and eventually replace our regular first teamers approaching 30. There is no point holding onto the likes of Origi, Lovren, Lallana, Shaq and even Keira who will be bench warmers forever at LfC if they stay. Get in the likes of Werner, Aouar and one of the English CBs to replace the squad players and eventually force their way into the first team.
As a squad, we need to keep evolving and freshening up every season. Or we are just going to end up handing back the torch to Man City to dominate for the foreseeable future.

If there’s one single fan out there that would be disappointed with “just” the league this year. It’s only a sign of how ridiculous some people are.

{Ed001's Note - you mean just the league, World Club Cup and European SuperCup?}

We have Keita who will come good no matter what fans say, give the fella a chance like Hendo was given to prove us wrong and he has in spades
Also another midfield blocks jones from progress and what about grujic?

We have too many midfielders without the need for more Striker I do agree with as I think sometimes although a wonderful player the goals output from firminho isn’t up with the other two but what he offers is there other two don’t
So a different option to replace firminho and give him a break would be nice.

Controversial maybe but all teams need to evolve and firmino is the one to go former, I love all the things he does but its inconsistent, not scoring at home all season for a top of the league side is clearly an issue.

I've been a fan since early seventies seen many players come and go if you don't improve you go backwards a de bruyne type player is needed as well.

We are still favourites to win the CL this year. All other teams in the CL have something left to fight for. We can concentrate on the CL.

Bring on Atletico at the slaughterhouse (Anfield)!

We are not playing well enough to win the champions league right now but hopefully we will improve.

{Ed001's Note - Real Madrid won it 3 times in a row playing far worse than we are right now. It doesn't work like that.}

Best team usually wins over 2 legs imo.
