I appreciate Ed002's response on Liverpool not having "won" the Premier League so it would be null and void. I understand! Could the same not be said for the Champions League Places also? That bit seems confusing, seems like 2 different set of rules.

{Ed002's Note - You are not reading all of my posts. Will you be the same if the other clubs could be persuaded to support a case to give Liverpool the title anyway? Would Liverpool be humbled enough to change their ways if the other clubs they have screwed allowed it?}

This is what I was trying to ask yesterday if the European places are decided on current standings, Relegation cancelled which seems to be what is being talked about then why would a positive outcome have been found for 19 of the 20 teams apart from the one 25 points clear at the top. Makes zero sense, hopefully we get the league over the line but a lot of clubs will have differing agendas as we have seen with karren Brady this morning.

No, I haven't read all the posts, to be honest there is a fair volume for obvious reasons.

No I wouldn't be the same if there was a case for Liverpool to be given the League because the same criteria would be applied to Liverpool as to teams that would gain entry to the CL or Europa League next season even tho they too hadn't "won" their spots.

Lastly, it seems from your last sentence that there might be some sort of vendetta against Liverpool due to their previous misdemeanors, which wouldn't make them much better.

Anyway, I guess it's a wait and see scenario for now. I appreciate the influx of questions you are probably having to answer. Cheers.

Ah everything else is jezza, might as well add this to the list as well lol but what do we expect, utd, Chelsea etc fans don't like us because we're back on our perch, sucks to be them I suppose mate :) . We can only sit here and laugh because this year's title will be ours.

I think it's a really good point. If Chelsea and Leicester are awarded cl places then Liverpool should be given the league and the bottom three relegated. It doesn't seem right to give one rule for some and one rule for others.

And if city are league champs going into next season then we're surely European champs.

At least we didn't spend a fortune in the summer.
