In my opinion I doubt any of the teams will object to handing Liverpool the title.

If no title is awarded it doesn't really benefit anyone but if a precedent is set then opposing teams will know if something like this happens again and they are in a similar boat they will be protected.

{Ed002's Note - If you want a precedent it has already been set and it was not awarded. As I have said, there are three, perhaps four teams, that will either vote no or abstain if it comes down to that happening.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the reply ed02. If I may ask who are the 3/ 4 teams.

{Ed002's Note - It is unimportant and we are not going to discuss it.}

I think it’s pretty obvious which clubs would vote against Liverpool being handed the title.

Given the toxic relationships the clubs have, I think it’s crazy that a vote goes out to the clubs.

The decision needs to be made from either the premier league or the fa etc.

If I were utd I wouldn't want to come across as petty. Obviously Liverpool will win the league. I think our massive lead should play a part. I know that sounds biased, and I probably am. But one win (potentially) from the title has to mean something. It'd be so unfair.

Banter is one thing but if it was utd in the same situation, they'd get my vote, a team who has dominated like we have this season deserves it and that's as simple as it gets. If utd had done the same then I'd be saying the same thing, they deserve it.

Luckily they aren't at our level lol but what's right is right. Pointless discussion though because no matter what, that trophy is ours this year. There's no way on earth that we'll lose out on it.

I would think that the teams who may vote against or abstain are the ones we've messed around off the field over the last few years. Man city, Southampton etc. I really can't see someone voting against the idea just based on a rivalry.

I’m pretty sure teams wouldn’t vote to stop us winning. Clubs don't care about such things. They would vote to stop themselves ending up where they currently are in the table.
