Hey Ed's and reds
Hope everyone is well
Would it be safe to assume that during this torrid time just as in the rest of life the sharks will come out on top after this crisis ie the top clubs . Yes I know they will be hot financially but will they also poach on smaller clubs knowing they need the money more than ever . I love the game of football but I am slowly running out of love for the way it is run and the way it conducts itself .

Cheers.

{Ed025's Note - you will never change people taking advantage im afraid Dhfc, i would like to think that after the horrors we have seen that people would have a different perspective on life but i suppose thats naivity on my part mate..

I thought socialism was dead, Ed, and I would never see it again in my lifetime. After this is over, I would like to think it may emerge again. Maybe I'm being naive, too. I know this is a football site and not Question Time.

{Ed025's Note - there is no footy rome so for me its an open forum mate..

Its the nature of the beast, I'm afraid.

Regardless of circumstance businesses and financial companies would be looking to exploit the situation for their own personal gain.

I envisage some clubs receiving financial 'help' for short-term. But the impacts could exacerbate long-term.

I think a true measure of this is the amount that Jude Bellingham is sold for. The big clubs will know that Birmingham will be desperate for money.

Hopefully for them, there's a few clubs interested and a bit of an auction can happen to bring him up to his real value.

If it's just one or two clubs, someone's going to get a bargain at Birmingham City's expense.

Rome, socialism is alive and well. We see it everywhere but the powerful don't like to admit that's what it is. When the needy are grudgingly assisted by the state they do call that socialism, when large banks and corporations need bailouts they call that the cost of capitalism.

Ed 025. Will slag Everton any chance I get but fair play to them. As ed 002 as explained you lot are in a precarious financial position and still haven't furloughed staff. Clearly have priorities in order. Good luck next year fella. Hopefully we can both be competitive. I'd love a 1st (liverpool) 2nd (everton) finish.

{Ed025's Note - everton are a great club STE, we may not have the best team at the moment but when it comes to helping the needy we are top of the league mate, not just during this terrible pandemic, but all year round EITC help a lot of people including the homeless, disabled, elderly and infirm, it is something i am very proud of, some things transcend football and being able to help your fellow man and provide support to your local community is as good as it gets.. stay safe guys..
