I can see where gary neville coming from regarding man united with some good signings could be a lot closer too us this season, bruno Fernandes is a game changer for them and they have real potential also watch chelsea go the finding of this young lad gilmour is a real plus, both teams will also be spending, I don't want either of these teams anywhere near us so I hope we spend wisely and effectively to stay on top of the pack .

Gary is talking rubbish they will struggle again. Bruno although a good signing isn't enough to cover the fact that the first team is filled with too many players that are either inconsistent (Pogba) or vastly overhyped and won't push them to the next level (Maguire) . Plus Ole although he talks the talk hasn't proven nothing and has them on course for their lowest PL point total. I expect them to be around the 5th or 6th position and at a stretch 4th.

Utd are a million miles away from us and City.

GK - De Gea is not what he was, good keeper though. We have Allison

RB- AWB lots of potential but not title challenging ready yet. Trent so far ahead of him in terms of what he brings to our team, even if AWB is better defensively

Not a single decent CB at the club sorry. We have The best CB in world with VVD and Gomez who is also solid

LB - Shaw, overweight and overrated, we have the best LB in the league in Fobbo

CMs - Pogba (nope), mctominay (hell no), Fred (nope)

We have Fabs, Gini and Hendo, whilst not the best individually, I wouldn’t swap any of them out for Utd players

AM - Bruno looks good

Wingers - they don’t have any of true class. We have Salah and Mane, not many better out there

ST - only rashford and he just won’t score enough goals. Bobby will likely score as many (perhaps a few less but there won’t be much in it).

Oh yes and there’s the other massive difference, OGS vs Klopp 😂.

I hope they get stronger and compete for the league aswell as everton it would be amazing for Merseyside to have the 1st and 2nd spot in the premier league (obviously liverpool 1st sorry ed25)

{Ed025's Note - it really would berg, but liverpool will have to pull their socks up a bit for that to happen mate.. :)

They ain't a million miles away mate, that type of attitude will catch u with ya pants down time don't stand still for no team .

There actually something to the tune of 37 points away in the league and as illustrated above, have about 3 players in their starting lineup with the required quality to compete. I don’t have an attitude I’m just calling what I see. Should they halve that gap next season, then we can say they’re making the right progress but fact remains they are poor at the moment and aren’t enough of a pull for the required quality and have an inept manager in charge.

Hailstones, Neville talks a whole lot of rubbish and has been proven wrong on so many levels regarding the LFC/ Utd comparisons that anyone still listening to him needs their heads checked. Remember when he said a few years ago that Utd would win the PL before LFC did? Remember when he was "lecturing" Klopp to discard the CL and focus on the PL charge last season? And those are just two of the "beauties" he has spouted about and been royally debunked. I know the guy has a platform and wants his team to win BUT he should know when to keep quiet.
