Hi Ed002, Just wondering if the PL meeting has happened today and what was the general discussions please?

{Ed002's Note - From what little I know right now: No vote on neutral grounds - it is being suggested that the reluctance to have a vote on the neutral venues will see some clubs look to use it to end the season as there is no end in sight. The confirmed start for next season has been "set as" the previously suggested September 12.; It has been argued that the UEFA July 31 end date can be shifted as to allow PL to continue if the clubs involved in CL and PL agree. But this is all whatif stuff.; the view of players needs to be considered; the significant list of concerns raised by medical staff at clubs needs to be addressed - ideally before a meeting on Thursday; discussion on returning to training and then transitioning to training without social distancing.}

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Nope.}

Ed002, I'm almost certain the day will come when it is revealed that you are a member of the New World Order.

You're resources and knowledge is remarkable. :)

{Ed002's Note - That would be like saying are the members of The WELL the new Illuminati?}

Thanks Ed. I guess the news breaking that the FA have told premier league clubs that the season must be finished by "sporting merit" i. e play it when safe or another formula like PPG is fake then too?

{Ed002's Note - That is not what it means and it is not a new message. What it means is that the season cannot be simply voided and start again as though this season never happened - that has never been on the table so it is a bit of a dumb message.}

Thanks for the info, Ed02. I have read that the PL could ask the government to allow the clubs to use their own grounds in a bid to resolve the neutral grounds impasse. How true is that?

{Ed002's Note - Sort of, but it really has nowhere to go. This started because it is being suggested that the reluctance to have a vote on the neutral venues will see some clubs look to use it to end the season as there is no end in sight to the current issues. A small minority of clubs now want to go back to the Government and override all advice from a health perspective and from the police to say that they want to play home and away as planned.

You explained null and void was not being considered some time back Ed and you was right as always. What does happen in your opinion to end the season or not?

{Ed002's Note - No but it still looks difficult to restart. Nothing has changed except other teams saying we want out without an end game.}

What’s planned next then Ed, anymore meetings scheduled or any voting etc to be done? Just seems like time is ticking to the inevitable end.

{Ed002's Note - There are medical discussions due, there will be another PL meeting and they still need to address the closure issue.}
