Just a quick question Ed's. Is there a reason you don't see so many linked feeder clubs anymore and with the virus impact do you see it potentially becoming more popular.

If so, which clubs do you think are most likely for LFC to link with?

{Ed002's Note - Some clubs build relationships so that they can send players on loan with confidence that they will be treated well and gain experience (e.g. Chelsea with Vitesse Arnhem and PSV), others have died a death over the years (e.g. Manchester United and Royal Antwerp), some have gone further (Manchester City using other clubs in the City Football Group fold to send players to) and some have gone further still (Dmitry Rybolovlev who owns Monaco has purchased Cercle Brugge as a feeder club).

Liverpool tried to build a relationship with Genk in Belgium but it went nowhere.

Wouldn't tranmere rovers be a good feeder/ loan club for liverpool youngsters wouldn't have to move and currently leave 1 if the youth are good might get them championship.

{Ed002's Note - That would not work.}

Thanks for the response Ed. Could you see any particular club other than Genk being used as a feeder club? We appear to have good working relationships with RB Salzburg - could be worth a shot?!?

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool do not appear to be looking to build such a relationship at this time.}

We used to have it with Crewe Alexandra, from whom we signed Rob Jones and then later Danny Murphy. I seem to remember that Phil Charnock was linked with Crewe - not sure if he came from there or if he went to Crewe from Liverpool.
