I think the clause is a red herring. There’s still nothing to stop us making an offer anytime afterwards or negotiate with RB.

There is no clause for English teams. Ed002 has made this clear. It would only really apply to Bayern Munich.

I agree, would much prefer werner. He has proven his quality pretty consistently last couple of seasons, has shown he is stable and has good character. Dembele hasn't proved any of these yet.
