Is there any truth to the following

'It has been confirmed this morning that Goodison will host the Merseyside derby and not at a neutral venue. '?

{Ed002's Note - Yes. The SAG is allowing all games to go ahead at home venues - for at least. Certain assurances have been given.}

Interesting, it surprises me Ed2 but what do I know. Thank you.

I’m surprised also especially if it’s for all games. Just hope fans can stay at home and do as asked.

Feels like a mistake. Hope the fans will beahve.

{Ed002's Note - There will always be a few idiots - that will be OK. If there are a mass of fans who turn up that then becomes a major issue.}

I'm certain a lot of people will attempt to celebrate close to the stadium, particularly the possible title decider. Recent congregations elsewhere has likely downplayed the need for social distancing.

Hopefully the planning and organisation put in place will help reduce the risk of overcrowding as much as possible.

{Ed002's Note - The club has given assurances that won't happen.}

We can only hope that people don’t act like idiots.

The word on social media is a group of Everton fans are trying to arrange fans to gather outside the stadium to get the match abandoned xD bet you only a few idiots actually do and the rest respect the game and social distancing lol.

It’s ok for protesters to gather around the uk and world but not the footy fans who will be cheerful for their teams to gather I don’t get it!

In Aussie Rules football they are allowing a small percentage of fans back in the stadiums for matches. 2000 people will watch Port Adelaide play the Crows in a 50,000 seater stadium. Admittedly, Australian s are incredibly low but it will be interesting to see if there are any issues resulting from this and whether they will double/ triple the crowd at the next game. It could be a precedent for reintroducing crowds in U.K. games.

{Ed033's Note - All Premier League clubs have to do is say every match is a G. Floyd memorial protest and all fans can get in as usual no problem.

But that wouldn’t be abiding by social distancing recommendations, Ed. The clue is in the word ‘protest’. I know you are conscripting for your Conspiracy page but we’re trying to discuss sport here, not Plieadian-Templar cross-breeding.

{Ed033's Note - Seriously, i use my own mind, i wouldn't take any recommendations from any poly ticks type people.
