Am I the only one who would actually be quite excited about Dembele joining us should it happen? All I mainly read is everyone saying how crap he is.

OP, Dembele is talented and very skillful BUT that is not enuff to play in a Klopp team, as you well know. The guy is lazy, has a wretched attitude, forever injured (maybe cos his lifestyle is the complete opposite to that of a professional footballer), severely undisciplined and frankly, a piece of work.

The only reason he is still at Barcelona is cos NO club will pay the 90m plus that Barcelona want for him cos well, he has flopped there massively. So my question to you is why would we want Barca's flop esp. one with as much baggage as I mentioned above? I'll wait.

He would have to work extremely hard, keep his head down and take his chances if he’s going to get much game time at liverpool so if he’s up for that then I wouldn’t have a problem.

I remember people saying the same about Mané. If he comes I’d be excited he’s a real talent.
One thing we have at the club right now is a squad that won’t accept his tantrums. I’d have every confidence that the likes of Klopp, Hendo, Milly and VVD will keep him on the right track.

Easy to flop at Barcelona. Coutinio didn't become a poor player the day he left Liverpool. Same with dembele. We seem to be linked with every big player these days tho, and usually end up with someone no one expected who then goes in to become brilliant.

He was one of the most promising young players in the world a few years ago, that wasn't for no reason, if Klopp can get him motivated to work his ass off, and he can steer clear of major injuries, he could be a very good player for us. With him Origi and Minamino all at their best, we would almost have too good a cover for the front 3, IMO.

IR, I don't believe for a second that Klopp is interested in Dembele cos this is the same rubbish rumor being put out at the start of last season that Klopp was interested whereas he was not.

Same thing is happening again now so to me, it is nothing but click bait. And people should spare me the always "If Klopp can do this or that withh x player" cos he is some kind of miracle worker. I mean, none of that nonsense is true with a player like Dembele who is the complete opposite to players like Ox, Gini, Hendo, Robbo, Mane etc. who are ready to work hard and do whatever it takes to get better and perform.

Klopp cannot work miracles with a player who is so undisciplined to the point of NOT being interested in actually trying to even show up to training and team meetings on time, something Dembele has been fined for several times at Barca. If that was so, why were Benteke and Sakho run out of time with the disgraceful conduct?
