Saw a rumour that Coultinho could be available for 44 mill would you want him back. Dembele on a loan would it be thought about. Could
you see Klopp be temp in to swap plus cash for either salah or mane not both. for both coults and dembele. everbody thoughts.

In a word no. Why would we swap one of the best players in the world for a player that mugged us off and isn't performing? Zero sense.

Is the OP on crack?
David Moyes and Sam Allardyce wouldn't be stupid enough to consider such a deal!

To follow on from SonofSalah, and also one who's best position is one that we don't typically use in our current preferred formation.

Why would you want that little snake back here? I wonder how much money he pocketed off OUR club whilst faking those back injuries?

Coults and Demble failed at Barcelona due to one man messi why would he want them to outshine him. I reckon Klopp could turn both around and find in them the players they were before they went to barca. I see your point that coults fain a back injury and forced a move but even rush and owen left and and were welcome back second time round. If mane or salah wanted to leave, two for one would strengthen the team and give Klopp more options in attack. Personally l would love if we keep mane and salah and got both coults and Demble on loan and get rid of lallana origi.

If Coutinho was really available at that price I'd be all over it. Not going to get into the whole "should he be forgiven or nothing. he would make our squad better, and in a summer where were not flush he could be a good option.

Jadon Havertz. How can I put this.

WE. DO. NOT. HAVE. ANY. MONEY. TO. SPEND.

There’s more chance of Snoogy Doogy and Bozo Texino signing than Coutinho, Dembele, Sancho, Havertz etc.

Walkalone - when was Owen welcomed back?

11 Jun 2020 18:29:56
Coutinho failed because he simply isn’t as good as he thinks he is. We’ve literally won the league and champions league since flogging him. So maybe he was holding us back?

We don’t have the money to sign anyone, transfer, loan and I doubt we can even look at free transfers of things are as they’re being made out.

Seriously, OP? Surely, you jest.

6 times - it wouldn't be couts who isn't as good as he thinks he is, it would be Barcelona thought he was better than he is. But I don't buy it. I think it takes a certain type of personality to flourish in these mega teams like Barcelona and real. Especially Barcelona, who seem like a team of massive egos. And I don't think Phil is that sort of guy, even though he was out of order for the way he left. When Barcelona signed him he was one of the best players in the world. He kicks a ball beautifully. He can pick unbelievable passes and he can score goals and dribble and play up front (10) on the wing or in Central midfield.
I think it was his ambition to one day play for Barcelona, and I think klopp and Co were making it hard for coutinio to leave (quite right too, he was a wonderful player for us. I want my manager to do everything to keep our star players) and these chances can pass players by. so he forced our hand. I know it was bang out of order the way he left, BUT, I remember Barcelona wanting him at the start of the season but Phil stayed. If Liverpool looked within a shout of winning the league come January he was going to stay, if not he was going to leave. And I think joining Barcelona and his new team mates half way through a season did not help him to settle. And we don't mind mane and vvd who also were out of order to their clubs when trying to join us.

I don't think we got better because coutinio wasn't in our team. I think it was because klopp had progressed the team and spent the PC money on very good players. I think if coutinio had given klopp a bit of time to see what he could do he would never have left and I still think we would have been just as successful if not more so. We got our own back on that wonderful night at anfield, when Phil and suarez must have felt completely justified in their choices until 90 minutes later

I think Liverpool fans are harsh when rating pc and his time at Liverpool. And I think it's partly because of how he left. We loved him and were desperate to keep him. We all were. I think if he had never played for us and was available for around 40mil, it would be quite exciting. And I think people would believe that klopp could get him back to his best. I don't think it will happen. Not that bothered. The team doesn't need him. But great passers like Hendo and milner would just give couts the ball when we were in trouble. A bit like we did with salah 2 years ago. He was fantastic. And if you think klopp couldn't find a good use for him in our squad I think you need to have a word with yourself. He improves players, that's what he does. He would get Phil to a level he has never reached in my opinion.

Robbie, at NO point in life was Couts one of the best players in the world while he was with us. None whatsoever, IMO.

Also one of the reasons Couts was let go in the end IMO, was that (and you alluded to it), the players would pass him the ball and then wait and see. In fact, Klopp said during the Lockdown in an interview that when he arrived at LFC, Couts was so far ahead of the other players in terms of quality that the other players would just pass him the ball and stand and see what happens.

He referenced the Wembley Debacle at Spurs which was the lowest point of Klopp's time here (4-1 loss) that the Spurs plays knew Couts would get the ball all the time so they would drop deep if anyone else had it and as soon as Couts got the ball, they suffocated him. Did not help either that Cou was a ghost all game long.

IMO, Klopp saw an opportunity to actually not have to accommodate Cou anymore and could now create the team and system he really wants cos remember, Ox took over that AM spot and KILLED it until he got injured. That was when we moved on from Cou forever and we are now 3 times better than the LFC team he left behind when he went to Barca. Not aresd about his issues at Barcelona nor do I care about Barcelona as a whole. Best of luck to Cou whatever he does in the future and we should leave it at that, IMO.
