Morning folks! I was listening to a Redmen TV podcast the other day and they posed a rather interesting question, what one footballing result would you change if you could? Can be any team, not just LFC.

The obvious one was the Chelsea 13/ 14 game. Another actually mentioned changing the FA Cup quarter final result in 89 so we lost and didn't play the tragic semi final.

Apart from 13/ 14, I would want to change the City game from last season to a win. We'd have won the title and be unbeaten.

What would you guys change? Ed's. any thoughts yourselves?

{Ed002's Note - No, I have no such thoughts.}

Beat City last year away. 100 points, invincible.

The Atletico match at Anfield this year was painful. We battered them for 90 minutes but Adrian lazy clearance killed us. What a horrendous mistake. It makes my blood boil still!

Kloppboom I agree. I’m not even exaggerating when I say I think if we had Allison in net instead of Karius and Adrian in all the games we’d be looking at 3 UCL trophies under Klopp.

Fa cup final 1996 vs united. Only because I was a very young liverpool fan and that cantona goal broke my little heart. Other than that probably crystanbul.

The club was never the same again after Michael Thomas scored to give Arsenal the title, the most embarrasing defeat was losing the 1988 cup final to Wimbledon, i have never forgotten that, the side we had at that time should have got the job done, it would have been 2 doubles in 3 years.

hmmmm this is a toughie!

I'll pick a couple -

our loss last season at the Etihad. slack second goal for us to give away. a draw would have been enough for us to see the title through.

the '07 CL final loss to Milan where we were arguably the better team on the day. clustering titles especially doubling up in same major comp over a couple seasons would gives major credence to legacy for the club and the manager. that one felt like a real missed opporunity.

Totally agree KK that result should never have happened but it did so let's try and forget about it mate. We have bigger trophies to worry about YNWA.

Liverpoolfc8 it just shows how tough they are to win. You need everything to go right for you which it did last year. Robbo's header against the bar was agonisingly close though!

Thanks barry, tbh i am still sore about the peter Beardsley disallowed goal in the 88 cup final.
The future does indeed look bright and i am looking forward to seeing liverpool fc get back on that perch.

I can't see past the quarter final in 1989.

There aren't that many things more important than football, but this is definitely one of them.
