Just wow, what a performance last night. On it from the 1st minute Right up into injury time the intensity was there even the subs all played there part. We are very close now to the title.

We looked so much more balanced with Salah and Robbo returning.
And I like Minamino playing more centrally too, it definitely suits him better.

Lol we no that is not true mate 😊. I’m nearly as negative as you but I’m also just starting to think that we might do this. We might actually scrape out another 2 points from the final 21 available to us to get us over the line.

Wow ed01, you're the last red to say that that I know. I was saying it after the 3rd match! But I also said it when we signed poulsen and jovanovic so.

I really want Chelsea to do it tonight but can see city getting a result. I also think it'll be tough at their place and can see us losing, not saying we will but I have a feeling the celebrations might still be a way off unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong. Even if it does go a bit further, not in a million years do we not get 2 more points this season. Its just a matter of when now.

100% juicer, he's that type of unpredictable player who can go left or right on the ball. You feel playing on the wing you're losing half his game.

We were unbelievable last night. I'd forgotten how good we are. I'd forgotten that we are one of the best teams on the planet, if not the best.

Very positive performance from our 1st 11. I love that we all immediately know our best team but now have very capable bench options that can slot straight in without disrupting the style.

Williams looked great when he came on. Ox looked busy and sharp while Keita looks more and more at home - much more confident. Agree that Minamino needs to play the Firmino role - fella just needs a couple of goals.

Gomez and Van Dijk all the way for me at CB but you can see why Klopp fancies a different option to Lovren over a long season.

If Minamino and Keita can come good next year, and with the apparent emergence of Williams, the next bit of priority recruitment needed seems to be cover for Robertson. He offered us loads down the left last night and we miss him so much when he's unavailable. I wonder who the club have their eye on?

We really don't ed01. Istanbul, Barcelona at anfield. 30 years for the Premier league when we should have at least 3 of them in the cabinet.

Who would you say has been the stand out player this season? That's to everyone. It is Henderson for me. It's amazing how he is not just consistent. But has consistently got better and better all though his career, and it doesn't look like changing anytime in the immediate future.

Talking about Minamino's optimal position, I don't know how many noticed, but Keita was playing further back than normal yesterday when he came on, and he looked so so much better. More confident with his movement and getting a lot of small touches of the ball. It's Klopp's decision as to where he wants to play him of course, but he may want to relook this also. Especially if we do manage to bring in a new AM.

we need LB cover. IF Lewis and Larouci were the answer they would have got game time.
Once league is wrapped up, let's see if Klopp play's them.

Trent for me I think Robbie. Hendo has always been a favourite of mine, Trent though, for him to do this well at such a young age constantly at the top level, he'd get my vote. The lad in my eyes is a legend in the making.

Mane for me as he’s scored a lot of important goals this season when we’ve really needed it. Re next year I don’t think we need a CB as Gomez is immense and will only get better the more he plays with VVD and we have Matip as cover. Imo we only need left back cover, a playmaker for when we don’t need Henderson Gini and Fabinho in games where we have 70% of possession and we need better cover for mane and salah. Werner would have been perfect.

I have never understood how an AM would fit in with the team when we don’t really play with one / Firmino takes that role anyways. 🧐🧐🧐🧐
The 4th goal sums up why we cannot fit in an AM with firmino in the side. The ball goes to him (as usual) he picks Salah. Salah picks Mane. Which is exactly why we would never fit in Werner as well!
You can’t push Firmino further up if you bring in an AM ( Firmino / Minamino likes the ball in their feet) which is what your AM’s are good at.
We need a world class winger who could do what Mane and Salah does and rotate him.

Spot on, Juicer regarding robbo and Salah. With Robbo, his overlaps keeps the other defence honest and accountable and Salah well, his mere presence on the pitch is danger to any opposing defence. Did you see his goal and that one time touch to Mane (on he right foot, btw)?

And yet, some LFC fans still want Salah sold. Thank heavens they will NEVR be in a position of power within the club to make that happen.
