Hi Eds, I have read on here a few times some of you saying we aren't in a financially good position. I was just wondering if you would be able to elaborate on this?

Providing that we haven't really spent much over the last 2 or 3 windows and we have the prize funds coming in from Champions league, club world cup and super cup, why are so many clubs in such a better position than us financially?

Look forward to your reply, appreciate all the work you do. YNWA.

Payments for the stadium expansion, payments for the new training ground, payments for transfers we have made, compensating for the £40 million of coutinho money we now will not receive, players winning the league contract bonuses, not getting as much tv and sponsorship revenue due to C.V., and probably many more things i could cite that i have forgotten.

When you say ‘other clubs’, really the only team you mean is Chelsea. Chelsea who are selling players like hot cakes, spent no money in the previous summer transfer window and have £120 million of Hazard money just sat there. They have a lot of spare money floating about as of this moment in time. Other than them, i can only see United and Madrid being the only teams of significant enough financial clout to be able to spend big and possibly get away with it, although we saw yesterday that United apparently will not pay more than £50 million for Sancho, so maybe they are also in a pickle.

We've spent a lot in agent fee's, more than most clubs, it's been covered multiple times.
