It appears Eds sadly, that this virus is not going to disappear any time soon.
From your knowledge of the safety measures/ requirements etc is there any realistic possibilty of supporters being allowed into stadia at any point and if there will be a long delay before crowds are allowed back do you foresee many clubns going out of business (are any in the PL in this position)?

{Ed002's Note - You are correct that the pandemic may well drag on and the Premier League have discussed the potential impact of possibly seeing next season out with no supporters at the games - which cannot be discounted. The Government have not helped the cause in the UK with entering lockdown late and having an early exit to distract from the Cummings sitaution and the Brexit mess which will further screw the economy beginning next year. Then we have the covidiots at demonstrations, beaches etc. adding to the problem. So all of this gives a very grim picture moving forward. As we have discussed there are clubs in lower tiers at a serious risk like Wigan. In the Premier League there are clubs who are having a tough time and pretty much all will record a loss this year. Spurs have taken out a loan to cover their commitments but the club at the highest risk would be Southampton. All clubs will be looking at the costs of transfers and many will look to cut back on wages. Sponsors will also look to better deals where they can. There are however two groups of sharks circling the Premier League looking for clubs to buy - that may offer a solution.}

Thanks Ed2
It would be really sad if the leagues were to lose clubs due to the virus- let's hope and pray things get back to a semblance of normality quickly.

Ed's, by shark are these PE firms/ investment groups? A Dalian Wanda type outfit perhaps?

{Ed002's Note - One is a digital media distributer and the other a company looking to emulate City Football Group and looking for the starting point.}

{Ed002's Note - No, Ed033 is a florist.}

The EU and the 'C.V.' have much in common, namely that they are both a farce.

Take it you don't work for the NHS The Lid?

thanks for the reply Ed! My brother works at Liberty Global so I'll ask him if they have interest after their F1 investment.
