I'm slightly surprised at the negative comments tonight.

I though there were a couple of positives in both Jones and Williams, thought both played really well.

If it wasn't for Pope, who I thought had an outstanding game, we'd have been out of sight in the first half

How that clown in the Everton goal is still England's number 1 is beyond me.

Agree9 Disagree0

Our first dropped points at home in about 18 months in a game we absolutely dominated and the whole world falls in. People seem to be forgetting we are champions for the first time in 30 years and instead just want something to complain about.

Drgie, negativity is what certain people do? If you were to ask them why they are being so negative after a very good performance? they prolly would not be able to give you a logical answer> Go figure.

As for the game itself, I don't think Pope is the reason we drew cos he did not make any save that was nowhere near him. The one shot or chance that was nowhere near him was Robbo's header and Pope had no chance.

All the other chances were fluffed and we should have scored 4 goals easily had we not been poor in front of goal and that kept Burnley in the game and we all know that if you let a team hang around instead of putting them away, you will get done and that is what happened.

My post was not solely about today, he’s been a Liverpool player now for 2 years and I can not remember him putting together 5 consecutive good performances?

Everyone saying he needs time to improve, how long are we supposed to hang on waiting for him to turn into this amazing player you all think he is going to be? Are we supposed to just let his contract run down to where we can’t cash in on him?

I’m my opinion he is never going to be good enough, he’s not strong enough, not technical enough and he simply doesn’t try hard enough!

I love how a home draw when the league is already well in the bag for the first time in 30 years is treated like a 3 nil drubbing at home. Such is our standard now. long may it continue. Come to Anfield and be grateful for a point LOL.

Think you have to give credit to Burnley as they knew the best chance they had was set pieces and they certainly caused plenty of problems from them today. We should of had the game wrapped up by half time but a combination of poor finishing and inspired goal keeping kept them in it. We have had plenty of games like this this season but we found a way to win. Today it wasn’t meant to be. Credit to Burnley and we move on.
