Ed02 if u get time could u give me a brief breakdown of how it works when a club finds a young talent And signs them up to how it all starts from schooling to 1st team?
Thanks if u get a chance.

{Ed002's Note - Quickly, and starting with 16 year old Rueben Cohen joining the club and moving to Liverpool from his home in Belgium. Liverpool will be become responsible for his well being, schooling, training (limited hours), religious needs, etc. under rigorous rules - and this continues until he is no longer considered a child at 18. Players of that age may get to train occasionally with the First Team or U23s but appearances will normally be limited. Once the players are 18 the club remains responsible but schooling is no longer required. There are also strict rules regarding transfers and loans prior to being 18. After that it is working hard for Rueben Cohen and trying to get a chance. He may get a loan from certain clubs and some clubs will have a fixed career path for him to follow.}

As an aside, the reason why EPL sides have been scarfing up 16/17 year old kiddies from abroad (Manchester City and Chelsea have already signed several, Mancjester United and Liverpool one each as I recall) is that post Brexit EPL clubs will have to wait until the players are 18.

Hey Ed what if said young players want a university level education on top of being a player, would this be possible or is it a case of one or the other?

{Ed002's Note - When that has happened they have been to university first in most cases - and there are not that many I can think of.}
