A lot of people saying we should move origi On and I for one don’t agree. This man just has a knack for big goals and seems to be okay with his role, maybe due a few more starts.

He doesn’t score that many but he also gets very little time to build sharpness and fitness.

It is also a lot harder to come into a team like yesterday when all front three are switched or cup games, than it is to replace just one - which I think he need to do more of. Rest salah for example one week and bring in origi or Mina. Give them chances to gel with the other two, whilst giving key players rest.

{Ed025's Note - bad idea firmane, you lose the balance of the side then mate and the likelihood of losing becomes greater, never weaken your side to accommodate lesser players, if they cant come in and maintain the level of the side then get rid because they are not worth a carrot otherwise mate....when mr klopp decides to call it a day please dont apply for his job.. :)

Accepting your arguments that Origi has chipped in with vital, game-winning goals in key games. But let's put it into some perspective, and look at it through goals scored. Over a 38 game season. Is it acceptable to you that a CB (Virgil Van Dijk) has 5 goals while your 4th choice forward (Origi) has only 4? Yes, Origi is not a starter but he's made 21 appearance for the season. And, yes, VVD scores mostly from corners because of his obvious physical advantage. But in the end, you have to look at what your expectations are from the position being played. I honestly don't expect goals from VVD; I value his defensive skills far more. But I do expect more goals from Origi, especially if there's talk of giving him more time at the expense of starters who have far more efficient with goals scored per game played.

he scored 4 big goals last season the derby Barcelona and the champions league Final but maybe he was just lucky to be in the right place for them games. You can't rely on luck for me we should have sold him last summer his value would have never been or will be as high and he would have left on a massive high. I think i would like to see Brewster come back next season and another wide player to come in. I don't think Ox or Origi perform out wide for us when they come in for us there. I don't mind Ox covering if we are short but think we could do with somebody else there.

Ed25, it is you who needs to be nowhere near the LFC job when Klopp leaves based on your harrowing record of judging LFC players as not good enuff, lol.

Seriously tho, clearly Klopp does not see these players as weakening the side at any level cos if he did not want Origi, he would have been gone and if he did not think Mino could do a job, he would not be here so like I always tell you, let things play out and see what happens. But thanks for the advice, man. Really useful (eye roll) .

{Ed025's Note - have you ever thought that due to financial restrictions the club has that viable replacements cant be sought RM?, just a thought..

27 Jul 2020 13:23:31
Ed 25 long time no speak lol
Hope your well mate
I honestly think Origi time has come to seek pastures new and that is for him not because I don’t think he is a good member of the squad
I do believe we need Minamino to come in and show he can play in this side when one of the top three don’t.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think divock brings much to the side john but im not sure funds are there to replace him with an upgrade mate, minamino is marmite at the moment so we will have to see on that one, im good thanks mate and hope you and the family are the same my friend..

27 Jul 2020 13:50:24
Come on Ed047. Just admit it. You want Origi gone because he sinks your ship almost ever single derby, LOL. And I suspect (actually hoping) that you'll do the backtrack moonwalk on Minamino in time, as with Henderson. 😉.

{Ed025's Note - ED047 is an arsenal fan ArAy, i have no axe to grind with divock mate and hope you keep him becuse he weakens your side, my view on minamino is that the league is too physical for him and although he has skill a strong breeze might blow him over mate, but as you say i have been mistaken before..

27 Jul 2020 14:08:08
Ed025 I want Origi gone but Minamino needs time when Firminho first came he was awful to just took him a bit of time to settle in. January is never a good time to move but I thought he has looked better after the restart. just not sure where he should play. Am sure if he played yesterday with Salah and Mane out wide rather than Ox and Origi he would have been a lot better. Ox is so much better in midfield And Origi just seems to slow are play down every time he gets the ball I would have rather seen Harvey Elliott start out there yesterday.

{Ed025's Note - i cant arue with much of that grino mate..

27 Jul 2020 14:12:02
Oops, sorry about that Ed025. I did mean to address you, of course. Physicality was more of an issue with Keita than I think it is with Minamino. And Keita is finally handling it far better. I'm hoping for the same from Minamino. I suggest you keep the backtrack moonwalk boots nearby Ed025, LOL. 😁.

{Ed025's Note - love it ArAY.. :)

27 Jul 2020 14:12:47
All good my friend and hope all your loved ones are well and safe
I think and i will probably get laughed out of town here
Liverpool should make a move for Sarr of Watford i know he is not home grown and what not but I feel there is a true world star waiting to come out in that lad and under klopp I really feel he could be something special
Not so much for Watford but Rennes he looked class
I just feel playing the way we do he could destroy teams and he is much better player than Traore is imo.

{Ed025's Note - a lot of people are of the same opinion about sarr john, i have not really seen enough of him to form an opinion mate..

27 Jul 2020 14:17:51
Always thought benayoun was too lightweight but I was proved wrong. I'm hopeful minamino will come good next season.

27 Jul 2020 16:53:42
Nice way to reward those big goals that brought us so much joy. Thanks div, bye mate. We all love reminding the wofld we are cl champions (6 times! ) but happy to slate the guy whom without we would have won sod all last season.

Don't listen origi, you're doing alright.

27 Jul 2020 18:01:51
I think ed025 will do the fabhino back shuffle with mino too! No offence but the guys a good player.

{Ed025's Note - i do think hes skillful robbie just a bit weak, suited more to the continental teams rather than liverpool, imagine him playing away at burnley on an ice cold wednesday night in december?, hes a bit too billy elliot for me mate..

27 Jul 2020 19:11:29
Ed25, your response is easily debunked by this simple anecdote: If LFC wanted to cash in on Origi, they would have sold him to Wolves in Jan of 2019 when they put 25m or so on the table to take him YET he either rejected it or Klopp asked him to stay cos he knew he would need him. Either way, Klopp and the club had the chance to sell the boy BUT they decided to keep him and well, as you and your wretched team were the first ones to bear the brunt of his decision to stay, the rest is history. Peace and Love.

{Ed025's Note - but that was over a year ago RM, a time when pickford was deemed the best english keeper, a time when couthino was worth £140m and a time when you were telling us all how good a keeper karius was...thinks can change dramatically in a year mate..

27 Jul 2020 19:40:22
Ed25, I fully agree BUT the point you and everyone is missing here is that regardless of what you or I may think of Origi, Klopp wants to keep him and he wants to stay. Finish. The End. I don't know why and neither do you BUT that is the bottom line, man.

Therefore if you have any beef with Origi being kept and not being sold cos he is not doing what you or I want then you beef is with Klopp, not with Origi cos the last time I checked, Origi signed an extension after winning the CL. Someone gave him that contract. He did not give it to himself now, did he?

{Ed025's Note - as i say RM i dont have any beef with divock, i just dont think he is of the quality that a league winning side like liverpool need at this time, but that is just my personal view mate and im certain that klopp knows more about football than me my friend..peace..
