Looks like Peter Moore is leaving? Sad I think he works great in his position.

Any idea why they have decided to change CEO?

{Ed001's Note - why do you think he works great? He has not exactly enhanced the club's reputation with the way he has led the club.}

Can you please help elaborate Ed001? Is it that he did not handle himself well or did not deliver as per expectations?

{Ed001's Note - he did not handle himself well and some of the things he said were, at best embarrassing, at worst obnoxious and uncaring. Under him we have managed to alienate most of the football world, that is not a good thing.}

Ed, do you think it was genuinely a CEO position or a patsy? I know there was also some hope to position us to bring in some e-sports revenues too - not sure where that went, if anywhere.

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure what you are asking, but he was very much CEO.}

Ok perhaps I'll ask in a different way. Did he really have license to control the behaviours of the personnel on the footballing side of the organisation?

{Ed001's Note - I am sorry but I don't understand your question. No one has a license to control behaviours. The club has a code of conduct but personnel are not 'controlled'.}

What’s the replacement like do you know ed01? Name eludes me right now.

{Ed001's Note - Hogan looks to be a much better choice.}

Ed you’ve made me question my original statement!

I don’t know why I think he is a great ceo, if you think hogan will be good then I’m happy.

{Ed001's Note - Hogan was the one setting up the commercial deals etc in his role. So I am not sure what Moore did that was so great to be honest. He antagonised other clubs constantly, which is not the best way to do business, especially when all your player trading is going to have to be done with the same people he was antagonising. I would prefer someone in the role who realises that getting along with the other clubs is good for business. It is much easier to sign a player when you can phone up the other club and they aren't set against doing business with you!}

Thanks for the info, Ed01. Based on your analysis, Moore was righlfully let go so the hope is that this Billy Hogan fellow can start rebuilding new bridges with these clubs and their officials that Moore may have burnt and hopefully, our reputation can be rebuilt in the eyes of the football world.

{Ed001's Note - very much so mate. The club withdrew his one year extension, so clearly felt the same way as I do. Hogan seems a much better choice. Hopefully he will continue building on our success.}

Thanks for the info, does this mean we are looking for a new face to come in and run the commercial side?

{Ed002's Note - It means there is a reshuffle.}

The eds have given plenty of examples of things done wrong by the club, I just hope it leads to the club revising its off the pitch business approach with other clubs etc. Someone who'll keep our own house in order and Hopefully someone also with the skills to steer us through these difficult financial times.
