Gotta say, not sure how eds carry on with such posts constantly asking about money and moaning that 'we' (as if they have a valid stake. ) should have bucket loads of cash. Or complaints about City and FFP.

The club went and bought well off the back of a very smart sale of Coutinho - it paid off. It was a gamble I think, we could have easily lost the league by a point again this year - then where would the club be? Would you keep shouting buy big?

I could be wrong (often am, just ask the wife. ) but since the large outlays, it has and needs to still be, about consolidation as a club - short term - part of plan. Surely the plan was big of Coutinho sale, win a minimum of 2 out 3 leagues and then look again. Without that sale, no way could the club afford the deals and it will no doubt be the same again.

I hope the club remain smart and purchase well within constraints - that have tightened even more, and recent events have no doubt disrupted any 3-5yr plan the club had. 1 out, 1 in. Better still, 1 big sale out and 2 in Or promote from within.

Stop saying 'We should be this. or that' it's boring, annoying and anyone who is on here should get a very clear picture of the club's position.

OP, the position of the club is clear and has been made clear by the great work the Ed's do for us on here. IMO, the issue here is that some people simply refuse to believe them regardless of how many times they break down these topics, due to reasons that only they can describe. Go figure.
