Hello everyone,

Hope all is well!

Question for the Eds if I may: Do you have any knowledge of where on the pitch do the manager and coaches see Harvey Elliot And Brewster playing?
Harvey seems to play more like Shaqiri rather than Salah on the RW, but he is not fully developed to state that yet. Maybe a 10?
Brewster does fantastically for Swansea down the middle, but can he play Firmino’s role? I’m also curious of your opinion!

Have a g’day!

{Ed001's Note - Elliott is a winger and Brewster a striker, that is where they are expected to play and I fail to see the comparison with Shaqiri in Elliott's style of play.}

Agree0 Disagree0

IMO, Elliot is a wide player while Shaq is a no. 10 who can play out wide as a wide attacker, as well.

Ed1 I see Elliott as more of a Hazard type of player. Do you agree?

{Ed001's Note - I hope not, I don't want him whining constantly about wanting to join someone else all season and going missing for half of it!}

Fair enough but let’s hope he’s half as talented but with a better attitude then Ed.

{Ed001's Note - defo mate. He certainly seems to have a better attitude in some respects, though still immature in other ways. It is going to be difficult work keeping his feet on the ground with the talent he possesses.}

Fingers crossed - enjoy your weekend Ed.

He's still a kid Ed001 so hopefully some of the senior players will have a word in his shell like.

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed mate, it is difficult in this era but we have a good bunch around him so that should help.}

just curious, how did Fergie kept so many stars in check? He had some real talented players since teens (e. g., Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney) and while they were not saints all the time, they did go on to have very good careers and not fall by the way side and became a what could have been that were easily forgotten.

Easy to forget how young he is ed. I cringe remembering how immature and obnoxious I was at that age 😂 Hopefully he's in the right place to keep his feet on the ground.

{Ed001's Note - he is far better behaved than I ever was at his age!}

With Millie and Henderson as the squad's Godfather's so to speak he better not step out of line or he could end up swimming with the fishes Ed001.

{Ed001's Note - are they going to take him on a diving holiday?}

01 Aug 2020 15:23:15
Ha I dread to think ed!

{Ed001's Note - best not to think mate, it might be painful for you to start doing so now.}

01 Aug 2020 15:55:25
You sound just like the wife mate 😂.

{Ed001's Note - how do you know what my wife sounds like?!??}

Thanks for the reply Ed.
I have to admit the Shaq comparison wasn t well thought. I did not see him attacking the inside of the field as much as Salah did, shooting, but linking up play and sometimes hugging the sideline.
The q was mainly about incorporating them into Klopp’s system. I was trying to find out if the coaching staff are moulding them into Firmino or Salah type players.

{Ed001's Note - defo a winger, though Klopp likes his players to be adaptable.}
