So reportedly we've finally received our £170m for winning the league - if this is true will any of this cash go towards the transfer fund? Cheers!

So this 170 mill that's already spoken for where would that have come from had we not won the league, just curious.

Our owners already invested the money in the squad, hoping that it would bring a return such as this to fund it. The investment paid off. It doesn’t mean that we can start spending it now. It’s already spent! This is what Ed02 means when he refers to FSG ‘buying the league’.

Our wage bill is not £330m that’s another teams bill from down the road. Ours is still high though about £265m.

Thiago looks like the missing piece we need in midfield and wouldn’t be too expensive given last year of contract. Get him and a CB and we’re done. Ox and Minimino can cover front 3 and we can change formation if needed.

Ed002 is correct about the wage bill MarkP08 and that info is straight from the club accounts. As we’ve signed up some players on new contracts I expect that wage bill to be even higher when the next accounts are published. I’m sure I saw the figure you quoted on Twitter recently and it was just the players wages listed - the club also has other staff wages to pay as well.

Missing piece for what? We won the CL last season and finished on 97 points, we won the PL this season and could have gotten through the CL if it wasn't for Adrian's quite frankly pathetic performance. We have a fantastic hard working midfield and its missing nothing!

Scarcity2.0 - whatever you say mate. No need to improve, we’ll stroll the league and no doubt win the champions league again if we can avoid Adrian being in goal. Klopp must be wrong again about wanting Thiago as the midfield and in fact entire team is not in need of any improvement at all.
