Hi Ed,

I haven't seen much of grujic, do you think he has the attributes to replace gini?

When I saw his debut against Barcelona I thought the guy was going to be awesome so still have hopes he could break through into our team.

I do really rate Grujic, i think he offers a dimension in midfield that we don't currently have.

Ed i guess from your perspective do you think it would be a better move for us to keep Gini for his last year and Grujic, or sell Gini and try to bring in Thiago?

i know you have previously mentioned wages and strategic fit to our way of playing.

From what I’ve seen he’s disciplined, technically decent and physically strong. Regrettably though it looks like he’s on his way.

To be fair I've just sifted thru the last 2 pages and there's one negative comment on Grujic and a few that suggest he might be sold. That's not bad for this page at all.

I guess we have to trust Klopp and his team. He hasn't done bad has he?

Ed002 if he could get a WP I would love to see him part of the squad I don’t see him being any worse that Naby who for me has been a massive let down. And he is a 50/ 50 with fans you have the ones that see him play and think his been great but for me he gives the ball away to cheaply most of the time and compared to when Gini is playing Robbo gets hardly any support defensively. So I think Grujic could do a good job for us seems a danger in the other box when ever I have seen him play.

You know what Grino, I’d probably sell Naby over Grujic as Naby hasn’t really shown anything in his two years here, I don’t think he’s even bothered to learn English yet (citation needed) and more often than not he’s been injured.

Grujic is already good. From what I’ve seen - which isn’t very much - he could be very good. I’ve never spoken to an LFC supporter who has knocked him. Not sure what ed2 is referring to. I guess I should be grateful that I don’t speak to the sane so called fans that ed2 has to put up with. I would like Grujic to stay with us to be honest. He has got thise Viera type long legs - bit like Fabinho - that can seem to get places that they shouldn’t .

So Many hasn't shown anything and has been a massive let down two of ye happy to get rid.

I think he has looked class and I've loved seeing his name on the teamsheet the past few months. First 18 months of course I was disappointed as well but I still hoped he would settle and show what he could do. I think the last few months he has been fit and added excitement to our midfield.

I had high hopes for Grujic when he first arrived. Grujic is a very good player, IMO. Now whether he is good enuff to play the way Klopp wants is another issue. and to those fans who have turned on him cos he may leave? Shame on you.

To me it seems clear. If Grujic stays he will barely play and therefore have little impact. If we sign Thiago, liklihood is that he starts and fans will se ehis impact straight away.

I like the idea of keeping Grujic but I can understand some liverpool fans being impatient and wanting to see instant result.

Klopp knows grujic better than any of us do and he's yet to indicate that he fancies him to do a better job than what we have or others we've bought in. Emre can, joe Allen, coutinho, Lucas leiva and now lallana have been and gone and no signs that the upper management rate grujic as the answer. I think he can grow into a very good player with a big future but I trust that the men who know him as a player and person are making a better judgement on his Liverpool future than anyone of us can. That's why many fans are not overly in awe of him I feel and I for one have not seen any large bashing of grujic to the scale that you seem to suggest ED.

I agree Sean Ireland. Naby has been racked with injury but has really looked the part lately.

When we play in a very measured way we sometimes don't knock on the door enough. Keita is the type of midfielder who can make something happen from nothing. I think it's taken much longer for him to settle than we expect, so fans scorn is understandable. But I think (and hope! ) that he's turned the corner, and we now have a potentially world class midfielder on the books.

In fact, I think this season will catapult him. I think he's going to be a big player for us and i think, perhaps, wjinaldum know this. He has Henderson and fabhino who start when fit and now it's his place that keita takes.

I think gini has been the better player on match days, but in training I imagine keita is the much more skillful player. People may think I've gone over the top a bit calling him "potentially world class" but let's see. He's no longer the new boy. He knows what this league is all about now. I really think he's going to do the business this season.

As an above poster has said, i haven’t seen anybody with anything negative to say about Grujic. He looks decent but he needs games and we need the money, haven’t seen anybody saying anything more than that. Don’t see how the liverpool fans can be accused of ‘turning on’ somebody looking to leave: if someone is looking to leave then they can go, don’t dislike them for it especially but you’re either with us or not no? Don’t really see how we can hang onto him or even want to hang onto him after that. Don’t really see what you’re getting at Ed002.

Only player I've seen fans really turn in was pipco. He was amazing when we were trying to keep hold of him. We're crestfallen whdn he ledt. Thrn when he flopped and we improved, he was rubbish.

I guess karius as nd lovren took some stick but I'll always be fond of dejan.
