Just read a report that we might be willing to sell Brewster for as low as £20 million. Hopefully it's made up reports but villa, Palace and shef unt interested aparantly.

Unless we're desperate to get the money in to fund a purchase, I don't see that happening.

I'd hate to sell Brewster for £20 mil. He's young and looks pretty good. I don't think he's the one to sell to fund Thiago. Plus I think he gives the front three competition to keep it up, having him on their coattails for a starting spot will be good motivation. Like Eds said, once we won the prem we lost motivation, can't have that anymore when young lads are showing promise and hungry for game time.

Brewster's millions.

Brewster could be one we may regret selling.

If someone sanctions the brewster sale while origi remains at the club then they need sacking. I saw a lot. of him while at Swansea and he is a natural finisher. Give the kid a chance as i feel he's a better option than Divock.

Rigsby, that was Richard Pryor at his finest IMO, man. Brilliant movie. Now regarding Brewster being sold, it will only be cause we are desperate for cash like Something-Red said. I don't see that happening.

07 Sep 2020 19:00:12
Relax RedDan, highly likely this is incorrect and just speculation. Of course the clubs can be interested but I'd be shocked if we would be willing to do business at £20M.

07 Sep 2020 19:03:39
I tend to agree, if we let brewster go it would be crazy.

07 Sep 2020 19:08:38
Am I the only one that would Flog him. I just don’t see a future in him playing upfront for Liverpool. IMO he’s Hyped up like many others before him. Jones on the other hand, he’ll be a star that kid.

07 Sep 2020 19:37:29
Ditto LFC8.
I’d take £20 million for him.

07 Sep 2020 19:50:14
I don't think he is hyped up at all. He is a very good player but I do worry how he fits in to our current system. No doubting his quality, I just see him replacing Mane or Salah adequately and I don't see him having Firmino's energy or skill. If Klopp was open to changing system to accommodate Brewster's skill set then he is definitely a keeper for me.

07 Sep 2020 20:19:43
If he is not going to be used, then sell with a buy back clause.

You have to think about it from a business point of view.
We recently got him for not much and can make a good few million. We tend to talk about millions of pounds on here as of its smarties. Most of us won't see 1mil in our lifetimes.

We did it with dom solanke, but although I think dom is a decent player, much better than he's looked for Bournemouth. He was inches away from scoring 5-10 goals for us. Brewster is the better player.
I feel if he could get on a run he could be good for us. Thing is, we don't really play with an out and out no9. Does he fit?

I haven't seen much of him but I really like origi. I really don't understand why he is so undervalued here. He scored the goals that won us the champions league. The premier league was more important for us, but now we've won it I think we can say that the cl is the bigger trophy. He should be worshipped. Brewster is a green kid. With tonnes of potential and needs to be playing. Is he going to play much here?

In an ideal world I'd keep him. But if we can make some profit to put to areas we could really improve, then I'm fine with it. It's not an ideal world. Especially at the moment.

If we selling too fund another attacker, I am with klopp all the way!

07 Sep 2020 20:25:08
I've been saying all summer that if he is not in the first team plans, we should sell him. Personally i'd keep him over Origi but if Klopp sees it the other way then who am i to argue with the man who delivered No.6 and No.19 🤷‍♂️.

07 Sep 2020 21:02:58
How can fans be happy to sell someone we have seen so little of? Surely he should be given a chance before leaving permanently. Criticising a young striker for being a goal scorer baffles me.

07 Sep 2020 21:57:36
maybe we're selling to make room for wilson.

07 Sep 2020 21:44:32
Brewster ain’t be sold will he Ed?

{Ed002's Note - That is hardly a sentence.}

08 Sep 2020 03:09:06
Don’t worry, Daretodream, he be ain’t that.

08 Sep 2020 04:20:06
Before his injury, Brewster looking very threatening. Since then he seems to have lost some pace and has had to remodel his game imo. Id like to think he is going to make it into our team but im not convinced (having said that i didn't see much of him during his time at Swansea) . Pretty certain Ed001 has done a player profile on him.
