Hi Ed 01. Do you think Leeds were a little naive yesterday with leaving Salah more open. Teams last year doubled up on him last year leaving space for others. He must have loved it yesterday that is why he looked like 2018 again. Also 4 men marking Van Dyk for that free kick which Salah scored from?

{Ed001's Note - it depends on how you look at it. It was a game that very few gave them a chance in but they nearly got a result with that system.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I knew Leeds would be tough co having watched Bielsa nearly turn OM to a CL team playing the exact same way, I knew he would not change and that if we made any mistakes, they would punish us so not surprised at all. Others prolly were.

I said it yesterday
But a more clinical team would of put 5 or 6 past them
You can’t play that open in this league and not get hammered more often then not
I’m happy we won but for Leeds sake they need to tighten up at the back.

Just because it’s a Bielsa team, seems they’re immune from criticism.
Cut out our defensive errors and they’d have got a hammering yesterday.

{Ed025's Note - thats a bit unfair juicer, dont you think leeds could say the same thing mate?..

13 Sep 2020 15:17:26
No Ed because they didn't create any more chances. We did create plenty more chances. But credit where it is due, they played very well.

{Ed025's Note - they did have a couple more chances sanjit but the game was littered with mistakes mate, the fact is that if no one had made a mistake it would have finished 0-0..

13 Sep 2020 15:24:05
What I would say is that Norwich were probably better against us on the first day last year but missed some brilliant chances. And our defending was better that night and we were more clinical aswell. but that game could well have ended
4-3 too.

Fair point Ed0025. But their conversion ratio was very good. Ours was not and I do feel we did receive a hammering. We just hammered them harder. Lovely game though for neutrals.

{Ed025's Note - yeah great game to watch sanjit mate..

Good luck tonight Ed0025. I am quite excited at seeing how James does.

{Ed025's Note - so am i mate..cheers..

13 Sep 2020 16:07:32
Disaster waiting to happen 😀.

{Ed025's Note - thanks for that juicer..

13 Sep 2020 18:43:02
Ed025, looks like you have a team transformed on your hands. Allan, Doucore and James are going to make a big difference. It's looking good.

{Ed025's Note - well happy ArAy, considering the time they have had together i thought the midfield were excellent mate, we did tire towards the end but thats only to be expected..

13 Sep 2020 21:19:08
Wait until the weather turns wet and cold, James will not fancy it one bit.
We’ll have this conversation again at Xmas.

{Ed025's Note - do you want boddingtons or tetley juicer?...because its obvious your a bitter man, give a bit of credit where its due man..

13 Sep 2020 21:50:35
Not at all Ed, as you know there’s a lot of Blues’ players I’ve liked and credited.
Doucore is a good buy, but I do not fancy James one bit Ed.
Anyway, we’ll see.

{Ed025's Note - at least give him a chance juicer, if it turns out hes rubbish then i will be the first on his case mate..

13 Sep 2020 22:17:55
ED25, that midfield of Allan and Doucoure (who I adore) is one of the most promising midfield pivots this season, IMO. Those guys can ball, end of. If they can stay fit and if Everton can generate more chances and score more goals then, you guys are going to be a real problem this season.

{Ed025's Note - yeah they will improve us dramatically RM, early days yet of course but already we can see the improvement mate...cheers..
