Ed001 with Thiago signing what are the odds on us giving Gini a new contract. I would love Gini to stay he is one of my favourite players and I think a lot of fans would on realise how good he is when his gone. I thought that about Dembele at spurs all ways thought he was the class in there midfield and since his gone they have been pretty awful.

{Ed001's Note - I don't think there is any chance and Dembele was class but I don't think Gini is the same level. He plays within himself far too often and that is why he has been replaced.}

Ed001 like you say about him playing within himself do you think with him not being a first choice starter now with Thiago signing that might be the thing to drive him on. Look at him when he came on against Barcelona after being left out. I know what you mean about him playing within himself I remember the second leg against city in the champions league first half he was just not doing a great deal then his first touch of the second half he brings the ball down drives forward past 3 city players then he just owned the match in the second half.

{Ed001's Note - but he has multiple times had one good game then immediately reverted back to playing within himself. I like him, he has the ability to be so much more, but he is just too laid back to ever push himself week in, week out. That has always been his problem.}

Ed001 you expect Thiago to mainly replace Gini then mate in the starting line up on the left of the 3 in midfield? Also Gini is likely staying I thought .

I honestly think we might see He do play less as well and the midfield rotate a lot more than they did last season. I think last season when the big games came round it was predominantly Hendo, Wiji and Fab selected. I think Thiago now gives the option To be added to that for the big games and Hendo probably needs to be protecting a little more as we all know his injury issues and with games coming thick and fast. Not me saying he’s getting dropped but maybe managed more to look after him.
